Ryan Phillippe took his precious children — Ava, 6, and Deacon, 2 — to see Cars on opening day this past weekend. The Disney-Pixar studios’ movie zoomed past The Break Up this weekend and racked up an estimated $62.8 million in ticket sales! Mommy Reese Witherspoon was MIA for the family fun event. jared, keep posting phillippe family pls!! there’s nothing wrong with it. this is a gossip site, yes. but as #6 says: it’s refreshing to see down-to-earth couples and families in hollywood!!! same about keanu reeves. he’s got no family but on his own he is an artist who lives his life by his own standards, without entourage, bodyguards and posh clothing. i respect him, too!
In pic no1 Ava looks like Ryan is squeezing her hand a bit too hard. Not saying it is the case, it just looks like it. I think Ava looks like Reese and Deacon like Ryan.

Sometimes people can be soooooooooooooo incredibly selfish and petty….When THEIR favourite stars are constantly featured(eg- there has NEVER been as much coverage as the JOLIE-PITT family in the site) then Jared is idolized but when not he is villified!!!!!!Grow up, people and act like adults!!!Stop being so petty…just because YOU are no fan of Ryan and Reese doesn’t mean that other people aren’tWe happen to adore this sensible and intensely private loving family and esp their absolutely beautiful children :0)The solution is simple…If something does NOT float your boat..then GO and SWIM in the ocean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At least you don’t see these two with a perma-nanny in tow. I’m so sick of Hollywood’ers who need childcare help with only 1, 2, or 3 kids. It’s not like they’re toiling over housework, laundry, cooking, shopping and other necessary errands like normal parents. They’ve got housekeepers, chefs and personal assistants — why the hell do they need nannies, too?

do you think their kids just think it’s normal to have people taking pictures of you? i heard shirley temple once say that her parent always treated her as a normal child rather than that of a celebrity that she always thought that when everyone got off a plane there were crowds cheering for them and people snapping photos. i imaging it’s hard for reese and ryan to deal with the paparazzi in such a classy way, i know it would make me so sad that i couldn’t just simply take my kids to a movie. anyway…i wonder if their kids know or comprehend celebrity. tha’ts the point of my post.
Yep, lil Ava is DEF a lil Reese!! Precious!Deacon is a spitting image of his Daddy. :) Love this dedicated family being in a STABLE relationship. Not like ALOT of the other relationships in Hollywood. I hope they continue to build their family more in the future!
You can tell he truly adores his children. There’s something about seeing guys play daddy to their kids. Especially when they share tender moments!
