Reese Witherspoon: Shopping!!!

Delaware native Ryan Phillippe, who once co-starred in a film about New York City’s famed Studio 54, is getting into the nightlife business himself.

The actor, who grew up in Penn Acres near New Castle, will be the primary investor in a new restaurant and martini bar slated to open in Wilmington next year, said Grimly Foret, Phillippe‘s partner and brother-in-law.

Phillippe, 31, and his Oscar-winning wife, Reese Witherspoon, visited Wilmington last month, a trip that included scouting locations for the restaurant, Foret said.

We haven’t seen Reese Witherspoon out and about lately but here she is shopping around Los Angeles yesterday afternoon.  Reese is also set to make an appearance at the Toronto Film Festival to promote her upcoming film Penelope co-starring Christina Ricci.  Penelope will be premiering on Friday, September 8 @ 6:30 PM in Roy Thomson Hall.  More pictures in the gallery of Reese at the Teen Choice Awards, where she won Choice Movie Actress Drama/Action Adventure for Walk the Line!
