Madonna and hubby Guy Ritchie have been hit by a series of rows — over their kids’ schooling. The pop queen has been taking Lourdes and Rocco with her on her Confessions world tour. But Guy, 37, is begging the Papa Don’t Preach singer, 48, to keep them in one place when the new school year starts next week. He is increasingly fed up with the kids moving every few weeks because of the tour, which goes on until October.
The family source added that Madonna “likes to have her children with her — otherwise she wouldn’t see much of them. They already have schools in London and Los Angeles which they float between."
Above is Madonna‘s children Rocco Ritchie, 6, and Lourdes Leon, 9, arriving yesterday afternoon at the fancy schmancy Hotel de Crillon in Paris. Madonna will be heading to Amsterdam for a September 3 concert. More pictures in the gallery!

I can’t wait until Lourdes writes a Mommie Dearest type book and Rocco becomes a neo-con Republican. Madge is a crappy mom.
Who cares? She’s not pretty — never has been. She would be a regular person on the street, if it weren’t for her boyfriend Jelly Beans putting her out there in the beginning. Her gimmick was ‘sex’ and it’s worked for her. She’s a mover, not a dancer, and her singing is ‘so so’. I was given concert tickets to see her when she came to New York and gave them to my friends, as I would not (1) pay to see her and (2) if I did get tickets would give them away, and I did. Her children are very cute and her daughter is a dark haired version of her.
I personally believe that stories like these are fed to the media by stars and their publicists. Really, who cares? But if you’re a huge narcissist and you haven’t seen your name in the paper since you pushed the Catholic’s buttons a month or so ago, this pointless fodder will suffice.
I feel so sorry for these kids…unfortunately she will always be popular because of who she WAS. Years ago it was all about shock value and absolutely not because she has great talent. There are a few celebrities like this…ones who are in reality just good business people…modern day example #1 is Jennifer Lopez. *sigh*

Madge is obviously pretty damn selfish to expect her kids to either keep switching schools or miss out on seeing their mother at all. You gotta wonder if those kids actually have normal friendships with classmates.

alexis, don’t know where you’ve been for oh the last 20 years but Madge is famous because she does things like this. My problem isn’t with myself, its with this media ***** who will not go away. You’re a fan, well goodie for you. the rest of us who aren’t middle aged soccer moms reliving their teen years or gay men could give a rat’s ass.
Madonna is a great woman. Solid fortune, nice children, indisputable talent . She looks strong sexy and firm!
