Sad that a man who lived his life to the fullest dies doing what he loves. But I guess if there is any way for a person to die it should be by doing something you love. R.I.P Steve. Inspiration to follow your desires.
I know many have said it came with the territory, that Steves job was dangerous but it’s still shocking. I can only begin to imagine what Terri and his kid’s must be going through right now. I hope they can find their way through this dark time in their life. My condolences to them. Steve will live on in the hearts of many and will never be forgotten.
Such a horrible tragedy. He will certainly be missed worldwide. Although I didn’t agree with some crazy things he’s done, he had a heart as big as Texas. The man wrestled with some of the biggest, meanest, and wildest crocs in the world and in the end, it was a stingray that killed him. Sad, sad, sad. Our prayers are with his family.
BTW, Thank you, Jared. This means a lot to the people who admired this man.
Thanks Jared. :) I truly enjoyed wathing his show crocodile hunter on animal planet. Man I can’t believe it was sting ray that got him in the end :( I will miss his passion for nature and animals, what a tragic loss sigh. He will be miss. Farewell Steve .
There are no words to express the sadness I’ve felt hearing this. What a loss to the world! He made it a better place to live for all of us and for the animals. There is now an enormous empty void where he once stood.

I’m so sad.. sad sad sad…. i cried when i heard the news. If anyone has seen any one on one interviews with Steve Irwin they would cry too… its a huge loss to the world.. HUGE. I’ve never known any public figure to be so honest & real & pure as Steve Irwin, his love for all things was undeniable and i miss him already. RIP Steve, my thoughts are with his family.

I live less than 30 minutes from Australia Zoo. We all feel like we’ve lost a member of our own family. Farewell Steve – every day above ground was a good one.
when i heard the news, it broke my heart. all i could think about was his beautiful daughter and son. but especially his daughter bindi the beautiful strong bond they both had as father and daughter. its so sad but i hope the kids will carry on the legends amazing works. despite what people thought about how he works with animals in dangerous way at least he cared about the animals unlike some people like poachers etc. steve has put our country on the map and for that im proud of him being himself not falling in to a trap being someone else. rip steve, all the best for terri, bindi and bob.
