Diddy's Press Play Party
“As we proceed… To give you what you need!” was Diddy‘s choice phrase during last night’s “Press Play” listening party at NYC’s Tenjune Club/Lounge (a small horseshoe-shaped dance floor surrounded by two tiers of tables and a DJ-performance stage, where Diddy spent most of his time). I had the opportunity to attend the party, which was a little more low-key than I expected but still was fun nonetheless. Diddy even dedicated one of his album’s songs to girlfriend Kim Porter, who’s expecting twins. Aww!
The album “Press Play” features big names like Christina Aguilera, Mary J. Blige, Big Boi, Brandy, Keisha Cole, Jamie Foxx, Nas, and Nicole Scherzinger. All of the tracks he played were definitely club bangers — his Bad Boy crew got wild on the dance floor — and bound to be remixed 5000 times before the end of the year. Diddy ‘s second single “Tell Me,” featuring Christina Aguilera should already be playing on a radio near you. “Press Play” drops in stores Oct. 17!
In the house to show their support was Nelly Furtado, Lil’ Kim, Sean Paul, T.I. (we sang “Happy Birthday” to him), and Cassie. I snapped a bunch of pictures from the event and even took a photo with choreographer Laurie Ann Gibson (if you’ve ever watched her whip Making the Band‘s Danity Kane into shape). Check out the gallery!
Diddy and pals sing “Happy Birthday” to T.I. and Andre
Harrell (former President of Bad Boy Entertainment).

how did you get in?!
I hate when Kim does her own make up she always looks like a troll after.
Hey…you probably dont recall, but I was in attendance at the party. I was, by far, the youngest and the youngest-looking person there. I was wearing a navy blue blazer with a green polo shirt. Anyway, I think you might be the only one who actually took photos. Keep in Touch….
