Brad & Angelina Arrive in Pune

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are said to have arrived in Pune, India for the shooting of The Might Heart, a film about American journalist Daniel Pearl who was slain by Muslim extremists in Pakistan. The Might Heart will be co-produced by Pitt’s production company and Angelina will star as Pearl’s wife, Mariane.

Airport sources claim that the Jolie-Pitt family arrived today at Pune International Airport at about 3pm by chartered plane and then drove in two cars to Le Meridien Hotel. Says one source: “First they went to Mumbai and from there they took a flight to Pune. They have just reached the Pune airport and arrangements are being made to take them to their destination.” Can’t wait for the pictures!

UPDATE :: Brad wants more kids with Angelina according to this exclusive interview:

“I’m not joking around. I have three kids now and next year I’ll have six. Nine. We’re looking for a soccer team. I want to compete in the next World Cup… The change has been immense. I’ve become a father, turned 40, and I’ve become more clear on the direction that I’d like to take and the things that speak to me. In my younger days I was more of a drifter. I’d try many things - I’d try anything. But now there’s a real pride in understanding myself and what’s important to me and my own values… It makes you more efficient because you do everything faster. There’s no time for messing around. I still value the work I do, but at the same time I value more getting home to the kids. It somehow makes my work mean more because I know somewhere down the road that my kids will see it. That is the way I approach everything now. Maybe it was turning 40 as well. There were certain things I wanted to attack and it seems to work. I go back to the kids and it just makes me more efficient and I get the things done that I like to get done, whereas before I probably meandered and drifted more.”

It may be a few yrs. now since the death of D. Pearl, the cause /manner of death is as evidently
truthful and painful as it is today.
This is the story of M. Pearl. I hope no woman would have to go thru the pain M. Pearl went through searching for her husband.
THe choice of AJ should not deter you from seeing this movie.

Thanks for the new thread, Jared; and, Bluemoon, thanks so much for the article! I love Brad the Dad! I think pictures were taken of him during this interview, as they were posted on another forum. He looked utterly happy and relaxed. I hope we get to see them posted here too!

Thank you for your post. ITA. People need to let it go and stop trying to label this woman “black” Why doesnt anyone bother to talk to the woman. Ask her why she chose Angelina? Or better yet ask her how she sees herself, what label she would use to describe herself. Instead of taking your personal opinions and pinning it to her like she is some victim of HW casting. She did not have to choose Angelina. She thought she was the right person for the role. She said she admires her a great deal and is right to play her. She said so when the filming was announced.

End of story.

So take the Dr King played by a white person comments and go to some other site where that nonsense makes some sense.

Give me a break. This is NOT a story about race. I’m a black woman and I’m not offended by AJ playing the role, so unless you’re a woman of color yourself and have a more serious objection, then step off.

BTW - Where the hell were you when Anthony Hopkins, an old white guy, was cast as a black man passing for white in The Human Stain? There are plenty of black actors - especially undiscovered talents - who could’ve played that role but didnt’ have the opportunity. Were you out in your Klan hood protesting over a white man playing a black man? Hell to the no. I doubt you’d even heard of the movie until just now. So take your phony concern for casting injustices done to black actors and shove it under your Klan hood.

Hi Guli! I’m glad to hear that Korey is well and back to solid foods.

I think there were photos taken of Brad by the foreign press during the interview. I saw them over the weekend; there were about 4-5 pictures taken of him seated from the waist-up. He was wearing a grey shirt and a big o’ happy contented smile! Let me see if I can find them again…
