Naomi Watts was spotted in Long Island, NY earlier this month on the set of Michael Haneke’s upcoming film, Funny Games. Naomi, 38, is the lead in this film and doubling as an executive producer. Here’s a synopsis of the film:
In this exploration of our violent society and how depictions of violence reflect and shape our culture, director Michael Haneke retells the story, through the eyes of middle-class housewife Anna (Naomi Watts), of how she and her husband George (Tim Roth) and their 10 years old son Georgie, submitted both physically and mentally to the tortures and death enforced upon them by two young unexpected visitors at their weekend vacation retreat near the lake.

ooooh, i had no idea they were re-making this movie. definitely one of my faves from michael haneke. i’m hoping they don’t tone down all the violence for the american version…it’s seriously one of the most twisted f&%ked up movies i’ve ever seen. i can’t wait!
I adore Naomi, she’s so cute, but I have doubts about this movie. The director is excellent and I would be excited if he was doing a new script but he’s doing an exact remake of his own movie only in English. What’s the point? More importantly: who’s going to see it?

if the show’s not supposed to be funny, why put the word funny in the title? maybe ***** would have been better.
i cant believe he’s remaking this. i hope its not a disaster.
i m waiting for this movie,because naomi will get tightly wrap tape gagged,and i hope haneke didnt change this movie,like the hitchiker,sophia should get gagged at that movie,but it revers,so stupid,why the director do that
