Hugh’s Holiday in the Caribbean

Hugh Jackman is vacationing on the Caribbean island of Nevis with his wife Deborra-Lee Furness and children, Oscar, 6, and Ava, 17 months. Hugh, 38, also seems to be enjoying the company of other friends and/or family. More pictures after the jump…

In a recent interview, thoroughly modern Hugh admitted his love for technology: “The 1920s hold a fascination but I don’t think you’d want to be sick in the 20s. Health care wasn’t great and there were no computers. All the movies, flappers and parties were great, but let’s face it, I’d switch everything for the right medicine. Also, I do quite like my email and my BlackBerry.”

JustJared, we Hugh Jackman fans can always depend on your for a Jackman “fix” just as we suffer from withdrawal symptoms. Thanks for the lovely pictures, although we all have mixed feelings about encroaching on the family’s private time together. We want to see the pix, yet we hate to invade their privacy. Talk about conflicted!

Have to agree with Ellen there… I mean, it’s great having news about Hugh but then when they’re about his private life it’s not that good… Kind of complicated really.

In case your interested, the photos of Hugh Jackman were taken on Pinney’s Beach, and the “Beach Shack” is Sunshine’s Beach Bar. I have loads of info on Nevis at either my Nevis website http://www.nevis1.com or my Nevis blog at http://www.nevisblog.com. By the way, in January of 1993 I met Princess Diana at Montpelier Plantation. Many of the celebs stay her instead of the Four Seasons Tourist Trap.
