OlderMadonna Takes Rosie's Side
Madonna made a surprise visit to The Today Show earlier this morning and addressed the Donald Trump-Rosie O’Donnell feud.
Not surprisingly, Madonna took Rosie‘s side, over the Trump‘s since the two have been good friends since they starred in 1992′s A League of Their Own.
Madonna told Today‘s Meredith Vieira: “People are giving Rosie a hard time. I wish they’d stop, I don’t think it’s fair. I don’t know exactly the context of what she said. I have to hear it from the horse’s mouth. She’s a standup comic. All standup comics talk about provocative things in their monologues before shows.”
But the real reason Madonna dropped by The Today Show was to drum up support for her new film, the animated feature Arthur and the Invisibles. Although it’s receiving horrendous reviews, Madonna provides the voice of the beautiful Princess Selenia. The film opens in theaters tomorrow.

She should’ve addressed her adoption controversy and the statements by Angelina Jolie, it would’ve been intresting to know what she has to say after it turns out Angelina’s adoption people were illegal and went to prison.

Why is Madonna trying to be like Angelina Jolie she wore the same style outfit that Angelina wore at the premiere of God Grew Tired of Us at the Pacific Design Center.

It must irk Madonna no end that she is seen as a follower and not the trendsetter. I applaud her for adopting a child in need, but she should at least give time and dedication to her work over a period of time before demanding to be taken seriously.
Angelina has worked tirelessly for her cause now for 6 years, so people know she is the real deal and not doing it for publicity. Angelina has earned the respect of the people in the humanitarian field, over time with hard work and dedication not by pr manipulations.
