Tara Conner: Equal Opportunity Drug User

Miss USA Tara Conner to talk with The Today Show’s Matt Lauer in her first interview since checking out of rehab. She admits, “I have done cocaine, yeah. I’ve tried several different things. But, you know, it’s always the same effect. The more that I get it off my chest, the better I feel about myself. It’s not healthy for my recovery to sit here and hold things back.”

In the latest issue of People, Conner said, “Cocaine was one of the drugs that I did use. It’s hard to look back at that. I was an equal-opportunity [user] – I would try anything once… And I would talk to more than one guy at once – it doesn’t mean that I was sexually active with every one of these people.”

The Tara Conner interview with The Today Show airs tomorrow morning on NBC.

Seriously?…With the teddy bear? Are these supposed to be the first few frames of her new “Tara Does NY” sex tape? The plot: Innocent girl wins big beauty pagent and goes to the big city with her teddy bear and ends up “TALKING” to more than one man at once while snorting coke with her crown… I know that we are now in the Tara is a good girl phase of this publicity train…but COME ON. The Teddy bear with the “come do me” eyes is too much. Too much. Can’t we all just let her go away? (P.S. I am from KY…and I don’t care about her!)

Miss USA a drug addict and an alcoholic? All in less that one year? Give me a break. She has no idea what addiciton really is, and her rehab (along with Lindsay Lohan, et. al.) is a slap in the face to all drug and alcohol centers trying to help people who have really reached bottom (I know, I’ve been there, done that). When celebs use rehab to duck responsible behavior, it is a hypocrisy. And to think Mel Gibson started this latest hollywood fad.

This is the most rediculous things I’ve heard in years. Would you want such a person to be a role model for your child. If she wasn’t caught, she would have never confess to it. Wise up N.Y. Have a little more pride in yourselves as Americans. If she was an African American, oh boy, I can’t even go on.

I had sex with my father when I was younger. It hurt the first few times and I didn’t like it but looking back on it now I’m kind of glad I did it.
