Ashley Olsen returns home to L.A. after her vacation in Mexico but continues to rack up the strikes with PETA. Ashley wore a fur vest at Fashion Week, and now she’s sporting a full-fledged fur coat. Spare the poor animals, Ashley!

She has every right to wear real fur! Rabbits are used in the food chain and fox etc are vermin anyway-Should we just throw the fur away??
Please be open minded and dont believe whatever peta tell you. Their staged videos don’t mean that all animals are killed like that. Real fur is not taken from endangered animals. It is a natural resource taken from animals in the food chain or pests. If the animals were mistreated, it would show in the fur-Mistreatment and cruelty generally doesn’t happen.
Most people are shocked that the animals are ”electrocuted”. Chickens,sheep and rabbits are stunned because its the most humane way. Why is it that people wear sheepskin but say rabbit skin is cruel-I can’t see any sense in that.
I ask people to make up their own minds and not accept whatever peta tell us. Please support real fur. Buy and wear a real fur coat today. These articles are usually written by people who can’t afford real fur so they don’t want anyone else to wear it either. Fake fur takes hundreds of years to break down and the dyes used to make it pollutes rivers too. In the end many many more animals needlessly die. That is not the case with real fur!!

point 2. if you kill an animal you should use all of it. not just its fur but every scrap you possibly can out of respect for it giving up its life for you.
If she knows that she is going to be put under the spotlight for wearing the fur why does she? Do you think that maybe that’s WHY she wears the fur. Is to get attention? I mean think about it…….. They (Mary-Kate and Ashley) were all rich and famous while doing their movies when they were young. Then you did’t hear about them for the LONGEST time. Maybe they felt like they needed to get back into the spotlight. Yet, this is NOOOOOOO exception. Wearing fur is terrible! Just because they are older now and can make their own decisions doesn’t mean that they can make the wrong ones.

Excellent points, Samantha. I can see that you are a thinking person, one of the very few I’ve found on this topic. I wear furs myself and I realize that many of the “antis” are motivated by envy and resentment as well as childish, emotional, cartoonish fantasies about nature. PETA and the animal “rights” cult represent the new “religion” of our secular age.

Are you really crazy – sounds like it. Many of us are vegetarians and most people do their best not to harm any living thing – it is a goal worth aspiring to. You have obviously never watched one of the undercover videos where these animals are skinned alive. In many countries these are family pets found lost wandering the streets or even stolen from yards. Many still have their collars with little hearts on them when they are skinned alive. Tourists report seeing and hearing the harrowing cries of dogs as they are hung up by their hind feet and skinned alive – all in view of the public (this in countries like China, Malaysia and Yugoslavia). These people are traumatized for life. If you have ever truly loved an animal and have the courage to watch one of these very disturbing videos, I doubt you would be so glib about the fur trade. Then again, you sound like a loony tune, so who knows if you are even capable of empathy. I pity you!
