Sophie has been Nicole Richie‘s latest BFF (they’re dating the Madden twins). The 27-year-old Aussie actress was shooting Snoog Dogg‘s latest music video spotted at Dover Heights, Bondi Beach and the exclusive Ruby Rabbit nightclub in Sydney, Australia last week. Sophie is engaged to Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden (Nicole‘s dating Hilary Duff‘s ex, Joel). He proposed to her on Christmas Eve in Australia with a Neil Lane platinum diamond ring.

She was one of the winners of “Popstars”, a kind of low-rent version of Idol, that was around before Idol came out. A group of them won, about 5 I think and they formed some band whose name was Bardot if I remember rightly… they were fairly dreadful in the usual pop kind of way, no better or worse than Jessica Simpson, Britney or PCD.
Anyway she was in a few movies, played the hot-dumb-blonde stereotype perfectly, she was in Click with Adam Sandler and the Hoff, she was one of the office girlies… She played Marilyn Monroe in that Natalie Wood movie too…
Anyway she’s not huge here but a few of us still remember who she is… and she sure could do with a Vegemite sandwich by the looks of her…
