OlderSofia Coppola: Motherhood is Great!
Celebrated young writer/director Sofia Coppola (Marie Antoinette, Lost in Translation) and French singer hubby Thomas Mars take their newborn daughter Romy, 3 months, out for a stroll through NYC’s SoHo on Wednesday afternoon.
At Tuesday’s New York City premiere of The Namesake, Sofia described motherhood as “great.”
Sofia, 35, continued, “It’s a whole new experience. It’s exciting. Right now I’m focusing on that. The baby is only three months old. It’s a lot of heating bottles, so that’s what I do all day.”
FYI: Sofia is cousins with actors Nicolas Cage and Jason Schwartzman.

Breastfeeding is a lot more fun than heating bottles all day. Just sayin.

I don’t see anything ‘fun’ about breasting feeding. You sound like a freak.
I mean this in a pretty neutral way: She looks so much an intellectual type, even the way she talked about motherhood.
They definitely don’t look like married to me. Interesting, in a neutral way.
I agree with ‘mad_alice’ for anyone who has ever had children the joy, the benefits and the bonding that you get when you breastfeed is amazing. Anyone that has something bad to say about breastfeeding has obviously never done it or persevered long enough to see the wonder. Sure it’s hard, but way more beneficial for the baby and way more convenient, and babies are only babies for such a short time……..

If enjoying feeding and bonding with your baby makes you a freak, I guess I’m a freak. YOU sound like an uptight nut.
You still have to warm breast milk sometimes. Depending on the amount your body produces. You pump it and store it. She didn’t say she didn’t breast feed.
