This is the passport photo of Angelina Jolie‘s newly adopted 3-year-old son Pax Thien Jolie (born Truong Quang Sang) that was attached to the passport application filed at the immigration office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on Friday. The very first photos of Pax were posted here.
Angelina and Pax (along with Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh) will fly home to Los Angeles after Pax‘s passport and visa have been finalized.
Lao Dong (Labor) newspaper reports that when Angelina and Pax first met, she quickly embraced him and told him in Vietnamese “Khong sao dau, khong sao dau” (No problem, no problem) and immediately started playing with him.
Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper reports that Pax can count from 1 to 10 in English and his favorite foods include fried noodles and yogurt.
The adoption agency that Angelina used issued the following response to clear up rumors regarding Pax‘s adoption.
“In applying to adopt 3-yr-old Pax Thien, Ms. Jolie followed the same course as all prospective adoptive parents who apply to our Vietnam program. Throughout her adoption process, which began in the summer of 2006, she has received no preferential treatment from the Vietnamese government or Adoptions From The Heart, and contrary to earlier reports, her application was not fast tracked.
Despite rumors that she chose her child, Ms. Jolie received a referral, just like any other parent adopting from Vietnam. In late 2006, she was referred a child who had been legally determined to be available for adoption and who fit within the parameters for which she had been approved to adopt. She accepted the first and only referral given to her.
In addition, we can confirm the statement given by Nguyen Van Trung, Director of Tam Binh Orphanage, that Ms. Jolie has neither made, nor promised to make, any financial contributions to his orphanage. Adoptions From The Heart celebrates the miracle of adoption with the Jolie-Pitt family, as we do with all of our clients, and wish them much joy.”

He looks so cute, does Pax. He is one lucky child, to become the fourth child of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Brad is really on his way to getting his dominant soccer team. Congratulations to the Jolie-Pitts!

I am very happy for this couple and children, may a wealth of happiness shine upon them.
I’m so happy for them and little Pax. Poor llittle fella is probably overwhelmed at the moment. Are we sure the girls are there too? I can’t imagine Brad at home without any of his kids….must be killing him.

Its’ so refreshing reading about a child being given a loving home compared to celebrities out shopping,flaunting their snatch or picking their nose…its flatulence compared to someone to who has a conscience and a heart. Pax is beautiful as are all the children of the world. The mix of Vietnamese and Cambodian is wonderful it is heartwarming. My fantasy would be for her to adopt from Iraq that really would be a smack in the face…especially to the neo-nazi like policies of the current government. They and their followers must really hate this couple intensely. Perhaps all the nasties that appear on various blogsites could be referred to as NNs?
Angelina should adopt me. I’d make a great 21-year-old daughter :p

As Original Curious mentioned, Brad must be going crazy without his woman and his kids around him. I know the look in my husband’s eyes when my daughter and I go somewhere without him at least for a week. He always has tears in his eyes while welcoming us back.
The Jolie-Pitts’ reunion will be great with a new addition.

Oh yes, a child from Iraq or Afghanistan would really be a lethal strike against the neo-conservatists in USA. It could be so lovely. I wish that this beautiful family will face many good times.
The “miracle of adoption” is right and it is to be celebrated. JJ, I really appreciate knowing that there is a new cause for Joy in the land of JP. He is adorable.
This summer is going to be so much fun for all the kids. Shiloh walking or starting to, Zahara talking, Pax learning English (I think he and Zee are going to be close — hope she doesn’t bogart the snacks!) and Maddox leading the reindeer games. What a great feeling B&A must have of joy and anticipation. The senior Pitts will be in heaven, I’m sure.
I have a few friends with four kids, closely spaced in age. I couldn’t do it myself, but they seem to love it and they can afford it, so more power to them — and that goes for the Jolie Pitts too. Enjoy.

Angelina Jolie has been voted Hollywood’s ‘yummiest mummy’. The actress topped a poll of over 3,000 film fans, conducted by movie website pearlanddean.com, to the sexy accolade.
Angelina – who has four children, Maddox, five, Zahara, two, 10-month-old Shiloh and newly adopted Vietnamese boy Pax Thien – beat a host of other stunning Hollywood mothers to the title with around a quarter of the total vote.

Can you imagine how Mad is taking a role of big brother, teaching him English, preparing Pax for the BIG trip? I am sure this will be Pax’s first flight on an airplane! I first thought it might get a little complicated to have two boys of similar age (sibling rivary, you know) but now I think they made a great decision. After all this will make 3 males 3 females in that house hold, and Mad and Pax will bond. Jolie-Pitt really gives a LOT of consideration when coming to children’s matters, don’t they…

Yes, I forgot to add Afghanistan another sham ‘war’…I totally agree a child from Afghanistan would be part of the fantasy as would one from the Chagos Islands against the NNs.

I just think the above should be repeated for those who have a problem comprehending after one read. Some People think the adoption process started when the media broke it…It’s such a silly thought process, it renders me speechless. It also goes to show that all those who claim to have inside knowledge about the JPs…DON’T KNOW JACK.
