Angelina Jolie talked with Ho Chi Minh City’s Law newspaper:
“I will stay at home to help Pax adjust to his new life. I have four children and caring for them is the most important thing for me at the moment. I am very proud and happy to be their mother. Photographs and press coverage will make him upset. I’m very worried about that. I would like to say I’m sorry for bringing this into Pax‘s life. Everyone would agree that children need to have a family. I have the ability to help children fulfill that desire. Why should I say no?”

Okay, in case the crowd comes to this new thread, can we please LET IT BE, if Brad couldn’t make it to pick up Pax. Give them all a benefit of a doubt that they are doing the right thing. Geeeze, isn’t that obvious to everyone. I am also sure Brad will more than make up for missing the the pick up event. For all we know, he maybe on his way to Vietnam, since it’s been reported that Angie will be there thru the weekend. I would prefer they come home quickly, but we don’t know what their plans are. So let us just sit back and enjoy the show! :)
I had a feeling she’d be working less after this adoption. It’s only natural that the bigger the family gets the more time the parents need to be with their expaning family. Good for her and good luck with the kids, Angelina.

One day when I grow up :) – I want to be like you and adopt kids from all over if I can afford it of course; if not , at least two for sure! That is my goal and you inspired me to do that.
I know adoptions existed before but to see a Hollywood A Lister Glamourous star who could be doing 100 other self-involved things with her time dedicate so fully to this cause has inspired me greatly.
I want my adoptions to be from the Caribbean, Africa or Peru. I love Peru!

Congratulations to the JoliePitts on the newest addition to the family! I am so happy for them. Pax is such a cutie. I can only hope that the paps would give him a break as there will be enough adjustments for him without all these flashbulbs going off in his face every second.

Guli – I was just like you last night – caught up in the March Madness. Congrats on your win. There was some great basketball last night, for sure. We watched mostly B-ball, until Grey’s Anatomy – then half screened it. I had the CBS feed on my laptop and was following the games there, too.
You got alot of dance about this weekend, my Buckeyed friend. Chill your wine, get out your dancin’ shoes and ENJOY ! !

Jolie shouldn’t have robbed Sang of his given name. Stories elsewhere say the boy cried being taken away from the only home he knew by this strange woman without any explanation having been given to him by the orphanage. He is old enough to have been told the truth.
I’ve no doubt he will be well treated in his new family, but how scary it must be, to not even be called by your real name anymore, nor have anything else familiar, including the ability to communicate in your own language. I hope they’ve arranged for a bi-lingual nanny who can translate as Sang/Pax learns English. The other two Jolie adoptees were infants, so it wasn’t a problem.

I believe this woman and her man are sincere in wanting to give kids a chance they wouldn’t have had before.

Good for her for staying at home for awhile. She’ll get criticized for that, just as she would if she worked outside her home.
