Here is the first picture of Cate Blanchett as Bob Dylan in the upcoming Todd Haynes-directed biopic I’m Not There.

In total, seven characters will embody a different aspect of the musician’s life and work including Blanchett, Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Richard Gere, Ben Wishaw and Marcus Carl Franklin.

Also starring the film: Adrien Brody, Julianne Moore, Michelle Williams and Charlotte Gainsbourg.

I’m Not There is set for a nationwide Sept. 21 release.

This picture has been around for a while, but ungh, I love it so much and think Cate is just so damn COOL in it, I’m happy to see it again! I can’t wait to see Christian Bale as Bob Dylan, too. Who’s the seventh person playing him?

todd haynes is a fantastic director. might be one of the most exciting directors out there. i’m not a huge dylan fan, to be honest, but i can’t wait for this flick.
