OlderFergie Falling Into Relapse?
During an hour-long meeting, Fergie seeks out the substance abuse services offered by the Beit T’Shuvah center in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
Is the Black Eyed Peas frontwoman falling into a relapse with her years-ago addiction to crystal meth?
The Beit T’Shuvah center’s mission statement reads: “Treat and prevent addictive and behavioral disorders through the combination of Jewish spirituality, the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and psychotherapy”.
This isn’t exactly rehab, but it’s close enough. We hope Fergie doesn’t fall back into old habits!

I am sure that this is just a ‘check up’ of sorts. Many people who are recovering addicts will do a check up like this at some point throughout their recovery – whether they are famous or not. It is easy to get swept up in life and work after the initial few years of getting clean, and this is when it is actually the most easy to relapse. Most are well aware of this, so it is a pre-emptive strike – just like getting your teeth cleaned every 6 months or a pap smear from your doctor once a year. Not a big deal. Considering all the partying that she must be around as a result of her work, she has to be extra vigilant.

People who are addicts never get over it, that’s why they are in recovery. She may need to do that to keep herself on track. Good for her, unlike dipshit Britney who is walking around blaming everyone.
