The Olsen Twins: Get in 'The Row'

Here is a sneak peek of The Olsen Twins‘ secret fashion line The Row, which was named after the famous Savile Row, a corner in Central London known for its high-quality tailored suits and shirts.

Mary-Kate and Ashley were spotted at shooting The Row‘s lookbook earlier this month at Rio Mar restaurant in NYC’s Meatpacking District.

What do you think of the pieces featured in The Row‘s lookbook?

    Coco Canada Says:

Very basic black pieces…some more colour and layering of different fabrics or prints would be more marketable to the 20′s and 30′s. What about the white and metallic colours and graphic prints that are in style at the moment?

    Fattie Says:

Looks a bit like the line Madonna did with H&M i think … Why did they choose such an ugly model ????

    Annika Says:

Unadventurous, and for mostly for boys, very thin boys.

ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS!!! THAT MODEL IS DISGUSTINGLY SKINNY. I THINK MARY KATE IS INDULGING IN HER ANOREXIC FANTASIES TO THE DETRIMENT OF ALL HEALTHY YOUNG WOMEN ACROSS THE GLOBE. THAT SPOILED, SICK LITTLE WENCH SHOULD KEEP HER DULL, LIFELESS TASTES OUT OF THE PUBLIC BECAUSE SHE IS OBVIOUSLY ILL AND NEEDS TREATMENT. THESE PICTURES ARE PROOF. GET HELP ALREADY MARY KATE, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THESE IMAGES.

    hideous

    Amy Says:

Nothing terribly original here. Definitely nothing I would rush out to buy. And did they have a casting call for the scariest model for this shoot??!?

    Stephanie Says:

    ugh, bland…

i think they should stick with kids clothes

    Martha Says:

A word comes to mind… cadaverous

Im looking forward to see the rest of the collection, i think that its gonna be really good actually!I think we can look forward to some cooler pieces than this. The quality on this pictures wasnt the best either so when I can see this pictures in really good quality i think i would like them more!

    Celene Says:

I think they’re supposed to be high-quality basics.. and it isnt THAT bad or anything either .. but i probably need to see better pics to actually judge them.. and stop hating ppl.. the model is beautiful.

    Jules Says:

Its pretty basic. And yes, that model is beautiful!

    coll Says:

It’s not as bad as i thought it might be. I would wear the dresses.

    Britta Says:

Yawn. And I’m so sick of looking at human clothes hangers instead of REAL women with bodies like the rest of us.

  16. 16
    Britta Says:

Course, women with bodies like the rest of us probably wouldn’t be able to fit their big toe in most of these clothes….sigh…

    shannon Says:

jules and celene: such a pity you have been brainwashed ie. socialized to think that THAT is beautiful. I dare say that you my dears are in the same boat as poor poor Mary Kate. A sad day it is when young women aspire to be as beautiful as a dehydrated and emaciated teenager on the verge of cardiac arrest. go figure

    MerDer4ever Says:

i think it’s supposed to be simple yet marketable for high end customers. i mean, it’s going to be sold in barneys. it’s more about how it’s tailored. it’s called THE ROW after Saville Row in london. the place is famous for having the world’s best tailoring. i would wear it. it’s not bad. but a i do agree that they should have a new model. she looks scary.

  19. 19
    anon Says:

ha ha ha!!! who would buy that crap at Barney’s????? Saville Row?!?!?! Please!!!! I live in Kentucky and I could do better at the local Walmart!!!!!!!!!

    lamb Says:

It’s nice they have enough cash to indulge their whims. Too bad they didn’t put their money behind a new up and coming designer instead of trying to prove they have talent.

  21. 21
    Liga Says:

    LOL!
Do they actually think people would wear that?

    what a joke..

  22. 22
    Lucie Says:

^ Of course people (i.e. tweens pretending to be more adult) are going to buy it in droves. Anything that has a celebrity connection will sell – even if it’s totally plain and could be bought 100x cheaper at any generic clothes store

    Monika Says:

    I argee with Lucie.

  24. 24
    RuthD. Says:

i’ve read that the pieces are meant to equate to “the perfect” sort of garment, and they have by the way chosen to use better materials and tailoring… and for this sort of rtw price i don’t see why everyone’s complaining- these silhouettes just aren’t available elsewhere.

    Ann Murdoch- smith Says:
