Fashion Faceoff: Christian Dior Dress

Drew Barrymore wears a multitiered ruffled Christian Dior dress from the Fall 2007 collection at the premiere of her poker flick Lucky You (co-starring Eric Bana) at the Tribeca Film Festival on Monday in New York City. She finished off her look with a yellow crocodile clutch.

To the right, supermodel Alexandra Tomlinson.

Who wears it best? DREW BARRYMORE or THE RUNWAY MODEL?

im sorry to say so, because i love drew, but it surely looks better on the model. i guess you need to be taller to pull it off well.

The dress looks better on the model. Surprise, surprise. She’s a model. But Drew looks really lovely in it, too.

    Drew hands down!
The model looks like a dress hanger, Drew looks AMAZING without loosing herself in the dress… they complement each other perfectly…plus the yellow clutch is a GREAT accessory.

    Sophie Says:

the model. looks like they had to make it bigger for Drew, which is not a problem, but it just doesn’t come off as nicely around the waste. and also prefer it shorter – would look better on Drew that way too.

    Carol Says:

HUGE Drew fan here. Huge. Massive. So even if it didn’t look good, I would say Drew. But in this case, I can honestly say Drew. Its fantastic on her, in pictures I have seen I would have thought it was made for her. beautiful!

Sweet nectar of Jesus, what’s on that models head? Not fashionably artistic, just ridiculous. Drew hands down.

    Chrissy Says:

I hate to say it, like honestly hate to say it, but the model. I think they should have hemmed the dress so it hit mid calf like it was supposed to. Drew fills it out fabulously but it looks a little too long.

the yellow purse PLUS the red lipstick is just too much…so -runway model- (though the model is ugly)

    Sweet Swede Says:

It’s not bad on Drew. But not as good as on the model.

    Ace Tomato Says:

Gorgeous color – beautiful dress. They should have hemmed it up on Drew. She’s too short and curvy for the proper silhouette of the dress, but they could have modified it for her and reinged in the volume a little to keep the integrity of the line.

Blah blah blah me. I can’t even sew a button lol.

    André Says:

Drew si annoying, aft and boring.

    stalin Says:

the model – drew is too short to pull it off – she should at least raise the hemline to the calfs the way they did on the runway model – oh well – she still looks great though.
