Paris Pockets $1 Million for Post-Prison Interview

NBC has agreed to pay as much as $1 million for Paris Hilton‘s first post-jail interview, which will appear on The Today Show. Sources tell the Post Meredith Vieira will conduct the sit-down the day after Hilton is released from jail.

Normally co-host Matt Lauer conducts high-profile interviews like these (his interview with Prince William and Prince Harry aired earlier this week) but because of “disparaging” remarks he’s made about her, Vieira will step in.

WILL YOU WATCH Paris’ tell-all interview on The Today Show?

Hell no I am not going to watch. And NBC should be shamed for paying her that much. They are cutting good journalist because they need to cut expenses.

They shouldn’t! They should just leave her alone! If they leave her alone, then maybe she will actually learn her lesson!

Oh and needless to say…she’s ALREADY rich and she does not need $1 Million. Think of all the starving children in the world and they give the money to someone who has just been in jail for a term that was shorter than she should’ve received.

The biish has been in jail for a min now, and she still gets press all day every day. Paris, her mother and father are, and will be pimping this for along time.

1 million for a craptastic interview which everyone but myself will watch.

Going to cahnge her way when she is out of jail my a*s! This w*ore never gonna change. Now if she takes this money and donates it to some worthy cause like clean drinking water project in Africa or AIDS research or something like that I will believe she’s changed. But no. She will take this money, head to some more talk shows and magazines, grab some more money, grab couple of guys, throw a tacky party where she would dance on table tops, then head to Kitson and Louis Vuitton to by more clothing, shoes and bags and then party some more. All this time we gonna see her famew*ore mother Kathy by her side encouraging her to party some more. She is a disgrace to womankind and she is going to stay that way. Amen!

America has become a sick society. How can someone who has done 23 days in jail have a 1 million dollar contract ?? While very serious issues around the world are taking place, the American people just seem to be only interested by Donal Trump vs. Rosie O’Donnell, Anna Nichole Smith saga, Paris Hilton, Nichole Ritchi, Britney Spears, and all of the likes. And don’t tell me that it’s only the tabloids because when you have a show like Larry King Live that dedicated over 20 shows to the Anna Nichole Smith saga, I say something is terribly wrong in America. I subscribed to cable TV here in Europe and I am just so disappointed by what I am able to see from the American channels. Larry King Live used to have a serious and respectable reputation here in Europe but not anymore. Tune in his show and instead of watching a serious interview with a serious guest, you will be in for an hour of gossip and speculation. And the worst part of it, is that Larry King seems to really enjoy it. I think it is time he retires as his is killing the good reputation he once had in Europe.

If NBC has $1 million to give to Paris Hilton who already has enough money then they should be giving that money to the less fortunate or for some worthy cause. That is just sickening to think that People will pay such huge amounts to wealthy people rather than give to the ’2005 flood victims.

I will not watch it. But lets see if Paris lives up to her famous last words of wanting to do charity work..if she pockets the cash she is a liar. She needs to donate that cool million to a charity of her choice…then PERHAPS she might gain back what very little respect people have for her.

Why on earth does anyone care what this ho/twit/no talent does?

NBC’s stock just went severely down in my book.

I dont remember hearing anything Matt Lauer said about Paris Hilton that was so offensive. I mean he was on Larry King, and as I remember he only said he just doesnt understand the whole fascination american public has with celebrities, and I dont think he said anything about Paris Hilton. Anyway, I hope this isnt true, cause I woud lose all the respect I have for NBC. I mean SERIOUSLY they gotta be kidding me.
