Kate Hudson stepped out in a bright yellow asymmetrical Christian Dior dress from the Resort 2008 collection as she leaves the hotel Plaza Athenee on Monday. The blonde beauty was on her way to the Dior Haute-Couture Fashion Show at the Chateau de Versailles in Paris, France. Her billionaire pal Ron Burkle left the hotel a few minutes later.

Kate looks amazing in that dress – I think it complements her coloring and personality very well, and prefer it on her.
It kind of reminds me of that lemon yellow number she wore in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.
Loved Kate in this dress, don’t really like yellow for blondes but she looks good, very in shape, toned arms.

Kate. She pulls this dress off with class and reminds me of a princess. The runway model looks awesome as well but the accessories play it up too much. Take them away and they both look equally as beautiful. The model a bit on the scrawny side, well a lot actually, I just had a good look and ewwww. Defined bone structure is nice but not that much!! Eat girl eat!

Neither. Jennifer Lopez can pull of a dress like that, its meant to be draped around curves so it doesn’t LOOK like your wearing drapes.
I personally like it on the model more…but I love how Kate looks like her mother in that dress…she just seems to fun, “Life is a Party,” running her head…

i prefer it on the model..the color does not compliments her skin tone. but i agree with one of the comments above. jlo or someone with curves will look gorgeous in that dress =)
I agree with Halli. This dress would look good on someone with curves. But if I had to make a choice between the two. The model looks better in the dress just because it not as loose on her.

The dress doesn’t fit her properly, she looks like she’s wrapped a pretty curtain round herself. And you can see her panty line through it, it’s awful!! She should stick to clothes that fit her well and maybe buy a padded bra?
Definetly the model….Kate makes it look scruffy and cheap! Sorry Kate.that dress was not made for the hippy look bt to be worn with elegance as the model is demonstrating……………

The model. Kate is swimming in this dress and having her hair down ruins the neckline.
It totally overpowers Kate and is way too big. Angelina or someone who is statuesque could pull it off. Not a short, thin, boyish figure like Kate’s, it just swallows her whole. So the model sort of can wear it. But it needs Angie in her Lara Croft body. THAT would be stunning. I also think it would be better on a brunette.
Dress is awful and doen’t look good on either of them. Kate looks like she went to linen department and got some yellow sheets and wrapped them around. Nope, neither one looks good. Sorry.
Yellow looks good on ppl that have color, girls that are pasty cannot pull this color off.

Close call. But the model. The model’s hair color and makeup break up the yellow-on-yellow-on-sequins theme.
Kate is yellow-on-yellow-on-sequins-on-blonde…a little too monochromatic…but I do like Kate’s shoes.
The model. The model looks like she’s wearing a dress. Kate looks like she’s going to a toga party and the only bed linen available was in yellow.
