OlderKate Middleton: What a Croc!
Kate Middleton (in Croc shoes) flows down the River Thames in London on Wednesday as the steerer/steerswoman, training with the Scion Sisterhood for the upcoming Collins Stewart Cross Channel Challenge.
The on/off-girlfriend of Prince William is hoping to break a Guinness world record by being among the first all-female crew to row across the English Channel for the charity race in a Chinese dragon boat (while beating an all-boys crew who call themselves The Brotherhood). You can join Kate and the sisters at the exclusive Adam Street Club on August 3 to help kick them off from Shakespeare Beach.
Former school friend Alicia Fox-Pitt said, “Kate‘s been training with us. All being well she will be in the boat. She is a very gifted sportswoman and we played a lot of sport together at school.”
Fellow crew member Emma Sayle added, “Kate‘s perfect material for our team. She’s stunning and very feminine but is incredibly sporty. She’s the kind of girl who can take part in a triathlon, get covered in mud and an hour later emerge in a ball dress looking flawless.”

Unless she was rowing while intoxicated, who cares, right? Actually, I really like seeing a young woman behaving like a normal, functioning human being despite being in the constant eye of the public and the prey of those damn stalkarazzi.

Why do the paps keep following her? She isn’t interesting, or especially attractive, or a celebrity. Its not even certain whether she is dating William again. I feel kind of bad for her.

she’s really pretty…in a natural way which is good. i hate crocs though, i see them around everywhere and its getting really sick. anyhow, she still looks good here.
This is a PR stunt and nothing more. Kate Middleton doesn’t know the meaning of work, uless it’s on her back that is, and only for a prince.

The prince is just fooling with you. Forget about him, he’ll turn out like his dad and probably be gay. So for your sake, dear, make him the last guy you’d ever be with.
She needs to get a life? She has a life, her own place to live, finished college and has a job, unlike some useless spoiled billionare brat, that does nothing day in, day out and then go to the army as if he is actually going to help out there. What else does she need to do? Volunteer work? She does do that by dating that baldy. She is beautiful and way to good for that guy. Prince or no prince.

If you mean standing there in the back with the oar its more difficult then you think. I am suprised that they learn in calm water considering they want to cross the Channel.
I’m learning to steer on a large body of open water and the wind and the waves are challenging to contend with.
