Hugh Jackman gets in some family bonding time wife Deborra-Lee Furness, son Oscar, 7, daughter Ava, 2, on Saturday morning at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia.
Hugh chased Oscar down, grabbing him by the legs and tripping him by. Ava also looked to be having loads of fun, getting a piggyback ride on Hugh‘s back.

The beard is required for AUSTRALIA, the movie he’s filming with Nicole Kidman. After that he’s filming WOLVERINE so get used to facial hair on Hugh for a while.

He sure seems to have it all figured out, don’t he? And it’s not about the fame and fortune. Those are just the perks of his job. But this? This is his life. That others in his business could follow his example, there’d be alot more happier famous folk running around. But then…the tabs would be out of business, wouldn’t they? And what a shame that would be…NOT!
I know that some think he needs to take an occasional walk on the wild side in order to kick up his celebrity profile. Don’t hold your breath on that one folks.
I hope he never changes. He doesn’t need to. His talent will keep him a star for as long as he lives AND his grounded life as a devoted family man, will keep him happy for as long as he lives.
And three examples of that would be…Jimmy Stewart, Gregory Peck and Paul Newman. One day (when he’s passed a longer test of time…and he will), they’re going to have to add the name of Hugh Jackman to that very select group; superstars who remained class acts to the very end.

Actually, I’m wondering if his wife is maybe channeling the 80′s with the new wave type leggings. Pretty wild but very youthful, kinda gothy as well. Would also love to see her do a full-tilt early Debby Harry homage too sometime. Thanks for the photos Jared, Beautiful family! Hope we get to see some of these photos in the store mags for those who don’t get a chance to see them here. I especially love the photo of Ava taking a horsey ride on daddy Hugh’s back! Lol, Hugh’s drover tan… I adore his family’s love & joy!
Forgot to also add earlier that I’m really starting to like Hugh’s beard more and more. Whenever he grows it out and I see a photo of him, I jokingly call him Anjin-san (after the Blackthorne character in the 1980 TV mini series Shogun). I do miss Hugh’s handsome face but really like the beard on him! Can’t wait to see him and Nicole in Luhrmann’s “Australia”…oh and I misspelled Debbie H’s name earlier too.
