OlderGwyneth Paltrow @ Comic-Con 2007
Gwyneth Paltrow (in Zac Posen) hypes up Iron Man at the 2007 Comic-Con press panel held at the San Diego Convention Center on Saturday in San Diego, Calif. She finished off her look with Lanvin sandals and bangles.
Paltrow plays assistant Pepper Potts to arms manufacturer Tony Stark, aka Iron Man (played by Robert Downey Jr.).
When asked how did the actors prepared, co-star Downey joked, “Gwyneth was my personal assistant for two months. [pause] That was after we wrapped principal photography. Sometimes you do prep after.”
The audience laughed, Gwyneth looked confused. Added Downey, “She was running the acting department at the end of the day.”
“Such bulls***!” Gwyneth replied.
“I had to say that for a certain demographic” said Downey, winking at the ladies in the crowd.
And Gwyneth also commented on RDJ‘s performance: “Robert is totally brilliant as Iron Man. He’s just incredible. He blew me away on set every day. It was really fun to just watch the clip of it downstairs with all the fans, and to see him all beautiful with his muscles and his goatee.”

GP is a fine actress, but her hair overwhelms her face. It’s too blond, too long & looks like stripper hair! She looked lovely in the movie Sylvia (movie about poet Sylvia Plath). GP is classy, and this hair-mop doesn’t reflect who she is. Chop-chop!!
I always wonder about the women who who never let go of their high school hair.Hers actually looks like real hair too.
Go Iron Man. Paltrow is so wrong as Pepper Potts. I will just pretend she does not exist in this movie.
I really love Gwyneth. I learned that she will have a movie with Brad Pitt. I wonder how will they feel doing love scenes when they were so much in love before. Will the old flame be rekindled? How does Chris Martin feel about it?

I never understood her popularity (other than the fact that somehow she managed to pull Brad Pitt, still confused on that one), she is so vanilla. There is nothing exciting about her at all.

If Gwyneth and Brad do that movie together, I do not see a big deal about it. What they had was 10 years ago and both have moved on to people better suited for them. Gwyneth is a fine actress but her hair looks so blah.

Gweneth stated in a Comic Con interview about Iron Man that she’s not going to be in this movie working with Brad. “Don’t always trust Imdb,” she stated.
Love Robert Downey Jr – would love to see him in a really good movie.
I get the strange feeling that Iron Man will be as bad as DareDevil and Fantastic Four.
I really like Gwenyth. She is very classy and she and Brad have remained friends. She has a nice singing voice too.
