Maggie Q's PETA Ads

In the latest released PETA ad, Maggie Q wears a sexy bikini made entirely of strategically placed lettuce leaves next to the tagline “Turn Over a New Leaf – Try Vegetarian!”

Her other ad shows a nearly nude Maggie Q in a bed of crimson chili peppers to spread the word that going vegetarian is the best way to “spice up your life” as well as help animals, your health, and the environment.

A vegetarian for many years, Maggie says that giving meat the boot is one of the most rewarding decisions she has ever made. “I feel better, I have more energy on and off the set, and I have the satisfaction of knowing that I’m doing something to help stop animal suffering.”

Maggie Q recently stared in Live Free or Die Hard with Bruce Willis and and Mission: Impossible III alongside Tom Cruise.

She looks very good and she is right for all this stuff about not eating meat. I love animals and i don’t eat them and it is nice that more and more people become vegetarians. Go Maggie :)

I don’t even know who this girl is, but really, who cares if her face is “too long”? Over and over I see people here acting like anyone who doesn’t meet their standards of perfection must be some kind of freak. Grow up.

She should hide her hideous mug.

    ana Says:

she’s pretty.. not one of the hottest girls in hollywood though.

    Ally Says:

I agree horseface. Vegetarian prob means not eating much. In HK, you need to be very thin if you’re going to be a star. Who really cares if her ‘face is too long’? I would say we do. This is a gossip site. Also PETA is an awful organization; I’m a vegetarian and I love animals but they are just plain stupid.

    Fug Face Man!ston Says:

she was hot in balls of fury, but in photos.. she’s not attractive.

Those photos are obviously photoshopped. That second photo is like a copy of American Beauty.

    Michelle Says:

I am a veg and an animal lover but don’t support PETA, they turn people who would be supporters off b/c they are just out of control. I am also not a veg b/c of the whole animal thing being horrible. I just don’t eat meat b/c the thought of it grosses me out and I don’t down people who do.

i think she’s pretty, as far as her talents… hmm, i heard she’s good at martial arts but her range is yet to be shown. i’m not crazy about these ads, not very tasteful. it’s so obvious to cover a girl in vegetables. i think it would’ve been classier and more impactful if it had been in black and white, certain areas covered as such and she’s just holding an apple of something… i dunno, i’m no creative director. but yeah, these are so cheap looking.

    Team Lara Croft Says:

Think she is bland. And I really wish, TV and film would portray Asian actresses that are not all biracial Asian actresses. What is with this Europeanized idea of Asian women? Why not praise the ones without just European like features? Gong Li: now that is a beauty!

    Lindsay Says:

Yay, thanks for posting these :) I think she’s just stunning and a good, strong female role model in Hollywood.

    kIRA Says:

I think she looks good, but I’m not into this whole “vegetarian” thing…we have sharp canine teeth for a reason! Besides, if everyone in the world was vegetarian all the animals would have to be slaughtered anyway to make room for all the crops needed to feed a world full of vegetarians! It’s a no win situation for the animals I’m afraid…!

    yehadut Says:

Wow, it’s so great that Maggie Q is compassionate as well as beautiful. I hope this makes people consider going vegetarian, and sparing countless animals an awful fate at our hands.

(kIRA – we have to grow 10 times as many crops to feed animals as we would if we just ate plants, so going vegetarian is a win-win. And just because we have the ability to eat meat doesn’t mean it’s the right thing to do; we also have the ability to murder, rape, enslave, abuse — as well as the ability to recognize right from wrong and overcome these primal urges to do right by others. Just as we have overcome the mistreatment of children, women, slaves, we now oppress animals but will overcome that too.)

    Danny Says:

OMG Maggie Q, My private part is still sore from last night with you…
