OlderHigh School Musical 3: Filming Begins January
Exciting news! Filming for High School Musical 3 begins in January, according to OK! magazine.
“The script is getting written — it starts in January, and it’s a feature film,” HSM‘s Jason (Ryne Sanborn, 18) said at the world premiere of High School Musical: The Ice Tour in NYC on Sept. 29. “[But] I haven’t gotten a call saying, ‘We want you to do it.’”
Olesya Rulin, 21, aka piano player Kelsi, added, “It if happens, I’ll be ecstatic to be in the third one.”
OK! also reports, “After the Vanessa Hudgens nude photo scandal, and the rising profile of series star Zac Efron, Kaycee Stroh, 23, who plays Martha, hopes the cast remains the same. ‘Our fingers are crossed because we love each other. The chemistry’s great with the 10 of us.’”
According to Life & Style, Zac is being offered $3.25 million dollars to star in HSM3 and Vanessa, a measly $1.3 million dollars. Chump change, people!
According to IMDB, two of the film’s working titles are High School Musical 3: Gradu-Dancin and Haunted High School Musical. Do you like any of those titles?

i was just thinking the same thing. doesnt seventeen start filming in november or decemember? i dont know how celebs juggle multiple projects but it seems like it may be difficult, considering zac is a major character in both films. my guess is if he does do HSM3 and i believe he will because it wouldnt make near the money disney wants if he wasnt in it. also, vanessa must be involved because i dont believe he would do it with out her and once again profit sales would be far from par if they werent the two main leads. I think Disney will work around zacs schedule with seventeen, given he signed on with the way before this was set. what do yall think?

I can’t believe I’m saying this (since I’m not like. . .12 years old) but I am looking forward to HSM 3! LOL. it’s cheesetastic.
i’m pretty sure zac will be filming seventeen starting in december.. so this might not be 100% true. i think it’s still a possibility, but i don’t believe anything has been actually signed just yet. i doubt they already have the scripts completed for a 3rd, and the cast said they wouldn’t sign until they read over the scripts. but who knows, we’ll see.
ok well i dont really know if i believe this, because OK mag has had some nasty FAKE rumors in the past about zanessa and others, but this is positive so im hoping its true :] i think it is though, because they said theyre negotiating still the cast sounded really positive about it when asked about it. soo ahhh! this is exciting! i love the picture too, its a really cute one of z and v, oh what joy it brings me to see those lovebirds :D
