Nicole Kidman @ 'Margot at the Wedding' Screening

Nicole Kidman (in Prada) joins writer/director Noah Baumbach and his wife actress Jennifer Jason Leigh for the New York Film Festival Q&A screening of Margot At The Wedding on Friday.

Both Kidman and Leigh star in the film. Jack Black also costars. Nicole‘s character, Margot, is a successful but neurotic writer who brings her 11-year-old son (played by newcomer Zane Pais) to spend a weekend visiting her free-spirited sister Pauline (Leigh) on the eve of her wedding to Black’s character. Margot disapproves of Pauline’s choice of fiancĂ©, which causes tension between the two sisters.

FYI: Jake Gyllenhaal grabbed lunch with Baumbach last month.

Margot at the Wedding is scheduled for a November 16th limited release.

So this is why Kidman was dressed up! I was wondering why she was randomly dressed up in the street. lol.

  • Sarah

When you look at close up pictures of her you can see a resemblance to her and Marcia Cross.

  • Lulu.B

    her skin looks 20.

    is it botoxed to death?

  • Kitty Kat

Is it just me, or does Nicole look even MORE botoxed?

Especially around the eyes. In the third pic her eyes look so taut, it looks as if she’s unable to even blink!

Nicole used to have an elegant natural beauty. Now her face just looks frozen.

    Too bad.

  • Matt

Nik.. slow down the Lip job.

  • alex

She actually looks her age, so I don’t know why everyone keeps saying she is having botox all the time. She is beautiful that is why she is being critized.

  • Nilda

dont like her acting and she looks so old.
I used to have nightmares of her because she looks so white
    like Rose McGowan.

  • Joann

All you folks who claim she has had botox: use your brain cells! Her facial complexion looks no different than her decolletage and arms. She’s just blessed to have such youthful complexion.

P.s. You can’t possibly botox an entire body. So, stop giving us your botox cockamimie.

  • Joann

    #7 “she looks so old”???

I want to look THAT young when I’m 40!!!

  • Jaxon

I think her blonde hair washes her out so bad. I liked her red hair so much better, she looked vibrant and alive, now she looks like a corpse.

And of course, her face is botoxed to death. Nobody at 40 is completely wrinkle free like that. Especially on the forehead.

  • Silvia

10-Jaxon: She is not wrinkle-free! That’s just her make-up. I just watched her in “Margot at the Wedding”, and she does have wrinkles on her forehead. The lines are very fine, though, barely noticeable.

“She looks like a corpse”? I think not!

  • sheryl

    Is Keith never with her?

  • Dancer

She looks absolutely stunning. I can’t stop looking at the pics.

  • Belinda

I laugh when magazine editors say Kidman’s forehead never moves.
She was never beautiful then and now.

  • granmakidman

nikkers looks weird….babydoll hairclip, huge sandblasted forehead atop alabaster face…and why wear cream? hate the outfit. girl can’t act and that forehead is unaturally line free for a 40 yr old aussie……you fanatics can claim it’s good genetics all you want – NO 40 yr old is line free. you need a reality check.

  • Gillian

#3 says “her skin looks 20.
how? is it botoxed to death?

    #7 says “she looks old”

Lol … okay folks, make up your mind!!!!

  • Gillian

#15 – Nicole is a very beautiful woman. No one is claiming her to be “line free”.

She does have some wrinkles. Contrary to what some may say about her forehead “not moving”, she can be quite expressive. You can see in this set of photos taken today at the same screening.

    Nicole, you rock!!!

  • Orchid

As one reporter put it, “she is botoxed to her eyeballs!”
Maybe he said it because she wouldn’t stop and speak to him. Who knows. I can’t judge. What do you all think. Does she lookd “botoxed to her eyeballs?”

  • http://- Joanna [Poland]

  • Gillian

#18 – That reporter probably has his/her own eyeballs botoxed out; that’s why he/she could not see clearly.

And if you just use your brain cells to think clearly, you would know she hasn’t been botoxed.

  • soysauce

eeew this pic is horrible i think it has something to do with her hair and that dress

  • wasabi

Talk about “THE FORTY YEAR OLD VIRGIN”!!!! Looks like an overgrown schoolgirl. She has zero taste and makes godawful choices in movies AND outfits!!

  • mossy

she’s the most beautiful woman. ever.

  • Stella_marie

Lol … just add some vinegar! You’re so green with envy!

  • Joann

You’ll sound better with some sushi!

  • Sienna

    She looks beautiful!

  • Anna

Sorry, she looks odd. Waaaaaaay too much botox and a hair clip at 40? Don’t rate her style. Give me Cate Blanchett any day

  • Sally

    creepy looking

  • lol

    too much botox!

  • cricket

Looks like a corpse.Probably acts like one in bed too Poor Keith.

Everyone who commented that wrinkle-free at 40 isn’t natural…. I’m 44 without wrinkles and without botox. My mom is 70 and is only beginning to get that crepe textured skin… HER grandmother died at 80 without a line in her face. HOWEVER… we all started turning grey at an early age (more like white than grey). I started at 15. Oh… and the broken veins in the legs… we are talking Road Map here! A blessing “here” but a curse “there”…. (sigh).

But I am curious about the whiteness of Nicole’s skin… glutathione tablets maybe? (google it)

About tanning and skin cancer… folks, you need about 10-15 minutes over most of your body per day. Darker complexions need more (not sure how much… 30 minutes?). This is so that your body produces enough Vitamin D3 so that you DON’T get cancer. Sunscreen allows you to stay in the sun way too long and actually contributes to skin cancer by allowing overexposure without the warning sign of a burn. Just because you don’t burn doesn’t mean you’re not doing any damage. Just because you’re white and untanned doesn’t mean that you’re safe from getting cancer. (google Vitamin D3 and cancer prevention)

Btw… any suggestions for finding pretty shoes in a Nordic size? :)
