Eric Bana is a Time Traveler

Aussie-licious Eric Bana receives some acting advice from director Robert Schwentke on the set of The Time Traveler’s Wife in Toronto, Canada on Wednesday.

Based on the premise of Audrey Niffenegger‘s 2003 fantasy love story of the same title, Chicago librarian Henry De Tamble (Bana) has a genetic disorder that causes him to time travel when he is stressed. Though he disappears often for long periods of time, he tries to build a romantic relationship with an heiress Clare Abshire (Rachel McAdams). Ron Livingston and Jane McLean are also said to star in the film.

UPDATE: Bana has been signed on to play villain Nero in the new Star Trek movie. Chris Pine is in talks to be Captain Kirk.
