Tom Cruise @ Rome Film Festival 2007

Tom Cruise attends a photocall for his upcoming movie Lions For Lambs during day 6 of the 2007 Rome Film Festival on Tuesday in Rome, Italy.

The 45-year-old actor was accompanied by director Robert Redford and costars Michael Pena and Andrew Garfield.

Variety review: “Talky, back-bendingly liberal but also deeply patriotic, Lions for Lambs plays like all the serious footnotes scripter du jour Matthew Michael Carnahan left out of The Kingdom. Robert Redford‘s first helming chore in seven years, and his most directly political pic yet, amounts to a giant cry of “Americans, get engaged!” wrapped in a star-heavy discourse that uses a lot of words to say nothing new. Apart from the curio value of Redford, Meryl Streep and Tom Cruise headlining the movie equivalent of an Off Broadway play, this first outing by newly resurgent UA doesn’t look likely to roar its way to significant B.O. gains.”

He’s a good actor and now running his own studio. That makes him like one of the top 5 most powerful people in the industry.

Never noticed how thin his lips are. And hopefully he will grow his hair over his ears, they are rather elf like.

The movie sounds boring..even if Streep is in it.But then, she was in Rendition too and that sucked.

He is excellent actor

But is he an excellent driver?????

Thumb up Thumb down 0

I don’t think he is an excellent actor. Whenever I see him in a movie I see Tom Cruise playing Tom Cruise, not becoming the character is supposedly playing.

I agree with Dancer. Sometimes a star becomes so big that you can’t really see the character in a film, only the “guy who jumped on the couch.”

14 Dancer

I have to agree. He doesn’t have a great range in my opinion. He is either angry or not angry.

Well, I believe it will once the spirits of the aliens that xenu blew up in a volcano, that are inhabiting our bodies, are removed. Once we get rid of these body thetans, we get supernatural powers.

Tom, go back to your old haircut, like right now!

And your height, there’s nothing you can do about it. You’re still handsome and more but without that weird scientology thing.

HILARIOUS…….M

Looks like he had a chemical peel, skin looks nice.
