OlderCate Blanchett Opens Armani in Japan
Four-months pregnant Cate Blanchett attends the light-up ceremony of the new Giorgio Armani flagship store with the designer Tuesday in Tokyo, Japan.
The pair officially open the Armani/Ginza Tower with a celebratory cocktail reception.
According to Fashion Week Daily, the Armani/Ginza Tower will measure about 65,000 square feet over 12 floors and two basement levels and will include Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani, and Armani Casa collections, as well as the brand’s first spa, an Italian restaurant, and an Armani Privé bar. Showrooms and the new corporate headquarters of Giorgio Armani Japan Co. Ltd. will round out the offerings.

She looks great, but isn’t she an environmentalist? One minute she’s in the US, then Australia because of her theatre, the next in UK, rest of Europe (Spain, Germany etc…), then it was back to Australia and announces pregnancy and premiere and now Tokyo! Is she promoting the film there or something?
To Cavendish: First of all, you’re a complete nutter! The union with Armani will put rears in seats at the Sydney Theatre Company which is struggling financially at the moment. So, I see every bit of sense and intelligence on her part collaborating with him.

When does she ever have time for family? And if her children are doing all these travels with her, where is the concern for their welfare or do people only care about the Jolie-Pitt children?

No. 10: Angelo — I traveled across continents a lot up until my early teenage years because of my father’s job, and I turned out fine.. The way I see it, it’s a privilege and a very lucky thing, to be able to see so much of the world while you’re still so young. :)

Didn’t she say that she enrolled her son in a school near where she lives because she realized he’s old enough to need that consistency? I don’t think she drags her children with her on all her work trips. Plus, while her husband is very talented, he’s not quite as high-profile as she is and they can probably get away with a relatively normal life.
