OlderJessica Alba is Broadway Bound
Jessica Alba is being courted to star in a Broadway revival of David Mamet‘s Speed-the-Plow in the spring, according to The NY Post.
Speed-the-Plow is a satirical dissection of the American movie business and although Alba doesn’t have any stage experience whatsoever, Broadway still wants her! Sounds perfect for her since she pokes fun of Hollywood anyway…
The play was first performed by the Lincoln Center Theater at NYC’s Royale Theater in 1988, with Madonna in the cast. Yes, that Madonna. She too had no stage experience when she took the role of secretary Karen.
