OlderAshlee Simpson is Born to Lead
Ashlee Simpson walks the gray carpet at the 2007 CosmoGIRL! Born to Lead Awards at NYC’s Hearst Tower on Tuesday. The 23-year-old singer/actress wore head-to-toe black — vintage Azzedine Alaia minidress, suede thigh-high Prada boots, scarf, and sheer arm and leg coverings.
This year’s celebrity honorees included Ashlee, Eva Amurri, Fall Out Boy, Jordin Sparks and Jonas Brothers. All were chosen for making their personal dreams come true or making a positive change in their communities. All winners represented today’s young leaders, givers, humanitarians, life-savers, and visionaries.
Father manager Joe Simpson (pictured below) was also on hand to support daughter Ashlee. Boyfriend Pete Wentz was at the awards too but didn’t pose for photos with Ashlee–he was with his own band Fall Out Boy.

I don’t know but I look at her photos and something is changed about her. justjared I think you wanted to say the Gray Carpet :) , but I love you news (and photos) so you could had said even the blue carpet and would had been ok. Why why don’t get to see Jessica anymore? I miss seeing the bimbo (dont go on fire her fans, because I am just joking). For real now, Jessica is no Celine Dion, but she can sign (squeal) better that others. Since she started acting (she thinks she does) the girl is just wasting her time because we all know that Jess has no talent for acting, we have to agree that she reacted the stardom by singing not playing dumb girls in movies.
