Katherine Heigl is a VIP at DMV

Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl pops into the DMV to renew her license in Los Angeles on Monday.

Don’t you just hate long lines at the DMV? If you’re Katherine Heigl, you get to cut the line! How unfair is that!

The manager at the DMV saw Kat, 29, and escorted her in the side door. I guess those are the perks of being a star…

Less than two weeks to Kat‘s wedding to Josh Kelley on Sunday Dec. 23rd!

Kat is sporting her favorite bright red Valentino “Maison” bag.

I’m getting a little tired of seeing these “celebs” getting special treatment. It’s not like they’re curing cancer.

In fairness to her it was the DMV manager that gave the special treatment. She did not ask for it

A million years ago, I worked at a movie theater in LA where celebs would come. The manager would pull actors out of lines that they were patiently waiting in and give them VIP treatment and let them in early. In fact, he often didn’t make them pay for their tickets. Drove me crazy then, drives me crazy now. That guy and the DMV guy are, quite simply, starf*ckers. Having said that, I don’t care for Heigl. Plus, I’m sure she’s getting used to this kind of treatment and expects it.

How lame is that? (the DMV manager). Grow a backbone. Total sucker.

Hmm…one article I read said the DMV manager saw all the paps surrounding Heigl and wanted to get her the place in and out quickly as possible. Maybe it’s due to all the fuss with the paps stalking her?

One hit movie and a popular tv show and she’s a-list now? Hollywood doesn’t have much standards.

    Kev Says:

Actually she waited patiently in line but there were so many paparazzi around it was causing chaos so the manager called her to the front so she could get processed and the photographers would disappear. She didn’t expect any preferential treatment – in fact quite the opposite. She seemed very humble.

    Maria (Shorty) Says:

If she had any class at all, she would have refused to go ahead of everyone and waited her turn just like ‘normal’ people.

some of you are so funny, if you were waiting at the dmv and the manager said come with me and put you at the front on the line you would love it!!!

    Tom c Says:

Paparazzi is not an excuse to offer preferential treatment. Just ask them to leave, like restaurants do. If they’re disrupting business, they need to be asked to leave. Why doesn’t the brown-nosing DMV manager do that for people who are in wheelchairs, with small kids (hey, those kids get very impatient, loud, and cranky), the elderly (they have standing a long time issues, you know), or anyone with a health problem for that matter?

He’s a brown-noser. Does he think she’ll remember him and call him or something???
