David Beckham loves his gay icon status!
“I’m very honored to have the tag of gay icon,” he told UK’s BBC radio. “I always liked to look good, even when I was a little kid. I was given the option when I was a page boy once of either wearing a suit or wearing knickerbockers and long socks and ballet shoes – and I chose the ballet shoes and knickerbockers.
“Without a doubt Victoria has a huge part in the way I look these days. I think most couples agree you have to listen to your partner and you have confidence in your partner to tell you whether you look good or whether you don’t and to help you out with your fashion and dress sense. In America I am just in shorts, tee shirts and flip flops – although if Victoria is listening, she’ll probably turn round and say the truth, that I actually get my outfit ready the night before.
“I’m very organized and controlled and need to go to bed at night knowing what I’m going to wear the next morning.”

David you and your wife need to give it up already. Get your clothes for the next day ready to go grab coffee. why so concerned about appearances? granted you can’t look bad but don’t fret chill out a little.

What’s up with the neg attack and the doubting of his declared sexuality? So…because he plans his outfits the night before and says he appreciates his gay supporters, he likes to sleep with men? All of the statements identifying the Beckham’s as “shallow” seem to be quite reflective of many of those on this message board.
I like David. Why should he lie about something as stupid as picking out outfits? He and Victoria amuse me but I do think that he really seems like a nice guy.
