Mischa Barton Arrested for DUI, Drugs

Mischa Barton was arrested for DUI early Thursday morning, reports gossip blog Hollyscoop.

The former O.C. actress was handcuffed on the corner of La Cienega and Santa Monica Blvd. in in West Hollywood, Calif. and taken into a police station at 3AM.

Mischa, 21, was driving a white Range Rover with a suspended license. She’s still in custody right now, being held on $10,000 bail.

UPDATE: Mischa reportedly was in possession of illegal narcotics at the time of the arrest. Surprise, surprise!

These “stars” are really starting to piss me off. I dont give a **** who they are no one has the right to drive drunk on a street I or someone I love might be driving on. This is getting really ridiculous, every day its someone new. Get a hobby that does not involve risking other peoples lives, jeez!

He r parents have tried to hard to get her cleaned up but she insists on returning to the same friends and thus repeating the same cycle.

wow. has DUI become the latest trend of 2007? not something I’d be too happy about. everywhere you look, another celebrity is getting arrested or in trouble for it. it’s funny to me that all of these celebrities get off easily too. 10,000 dollars for bail? pocket change to them. who’s next?

wtf!!! HIRE A DRIVER…its not like they dont have the money?!?! or at least get a cab….. i think its so strange to watch hollywood movies, and to see the characters in the movie take of in a car after they’ve been drinking! obviously this is the norm “over-there”… crazy people!

Shame that she’s doing this to her career. She was really good in her early movies (including Lawn Dogs).
I saw the movie Closing the Ring and it wasn’t really good, surprising considering it was directed by Richard Attenborough and co-stars Shirley MacLaine as the older version of Barton. She showed some potential there, but the script let her down.
