OlderIndiana Jones Takes Vanity Fair
Indiana Jones stars Harrison Ford and Shia LaBeouf take the February 2008 cover of Vanity Fair as photographed by none other than Annie Leibovitz.
Pictured below: Shia LaBeouf and Karen Allen on set in Downey, California. Allen returns as Marion Ravenwood, Indy’s spunky girlfriend from the first film, while Shia joins in—or so rumor has it—as Indy and Marion’s love child. Set in 1957, the new film pits Indy against Russian Cold Warriors, including Cate Blanchett, whose character, Agent Spalko, looks like the toughest Soviet customer since Lotte Lenya’s Rosa Klebb took on Sean Connery in From Russia with Love.
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull hits theaters worldwide on May 22nd.

good point, she doesn’t need the money so you’d think kate would spend more time being a mother to her little ones. seems that’s how things in hollywood go tho, feed the ego before you take care of your family.
i didn’t know indiana jones was supposed to have taken place back in the 50′s, i thought it was more recent. i haven’t seen it since i was a little kid tho so maybe i just didn’t get that part.
I hope this is a blockbuster.

Wowowow! I am so very very excited for this film! I’ve been a fan of Harrison Ford and the Indiana Jones films since I was a kid, and only pray that this film will live up to its (mostly) excellent predecessors. Thank you for posting this, must go out to find this issue as soon as possible!

Words can’t even begin to describe how excited I am for this movie. “Vanity Fair” did the same kind of photo spread for “Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace” and I bought the issue even though it cost a sizable chunk of change. Looks like I’m going to have dig into my piggy bank once again and buy this issue.

cate blanchett has a GREAT job as a working mom-she works a couple months, and then gets months off at a time. Who else has such a luxury?

I’m sorry, but harrison is too old to be shia’s dad. Shia looks 14 and Harrison looks 65. A good looking 65, but just old as the hills still.
I swear they photoshopped Shia’s face to high heaven-it doesn’t even look like him.
to #20 cate doesn’t need to work at all, that’s the point. she doesn’t even have to work a couple of months, she’s rich and set for life.
The fact that Cate doesn’t *have* to work doesn’t mean that she shouldn’t. She isn’t any less of a woman simply because she hasn’t defined herself as a mother only.
Do you also lambaste Hollywood fathers who work, rather than parent 24/7?
