2008 Golden Globes Winners List

The winners of the Golden Globes were announced Sunday night at a press conference at the Beverly Hilton.

Atonement and Sweeney Todd both picked up two awards each, including best picture.

No Country for Old Men and The Diving Bell and the Butterfly received two trophies each as well.

All I have to say is, Juno was robbed!!! 0 for 3 despite critical love and box-office success!!!

==========
Julie Christie is the frontrunner of this year race. after winning the CC and GG, I think Oscar2008 is her. because AAlist can’t stand the other actresses including Ellen Page, Marion C, Cate B, Jiodie Foster, Keira K., Amy Adam, Helena B.
AND I think the whole HW hate Jennifer Aniston, she was in a dozen of movies but was never nominated once, either supoorting or in leading role. She was so good , isn’t it, ? I just loved her playing Rachel in every movie roles, I hope she continue her Rachel role until 70 y/o. too bad, the Critics and HW AAlist just do not aprreciate The homely Rachel role.

Marion rulz. So happy she won that one. I just hope that the American cinema won’t steal her from us, Frenchies.

Congrats for Atonement, awesome movie. Keira & James are stunning…

I’m very very happy for Johnny and Cate……they’re fantastic actors and they absolutely deserves this globe!
yay for an italian guy Dario Marianelli and great Sweeney Todd!
^__^

Juno should have won something!

GOO JOHNNY !! HE’S IS GOOD IN EVERYTHING!!
LOVE HIM!

#2, you’re pathetic! How dare you insult Daniel Day-Lewis like that!

Sorry Jared, you have some truly pathetic people on this board. I just read that Ashley Tisdale was snubbed in favour of the wonderful Samantha Morton. YOU IDIOTS!

Wow, some of you guys are pathetic, what’s up with all the Angeline/Brad hate?
And to those (children?) who think Nikki should have won… Please, have you seen Marion Cotillard in her role as Edith Piaf? It’s not even funny to compare the two. Then again, if you’re seriously talking about HSM2, you must be 12. :-D

I would have loved to see Pushing Daisies win ‘though, but I haven’t seen the show that won yet, guess I’ll have to check it out.

Best Actress should be ANGELINA JOLIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
for her role in Almighty Heart stupid judge.

consgrats to all the winners!

Concordo com a Marina Duarte

Johnny Depp finally got his Golden Globe. FINALLY! Not that he’ll care though, haha. Now for an Academy Award nomination and hopefully he’ll be 3rd time lucky and win the thing this time. :)

witf angelina jolie didnt win?? im soOo pissed off man.

It is rather silly to trash award shows when your candidate doesn’t win. It is mostly a subjective process and there has to be more losers than winners. Best thing to do is reexamine why someone did win and either congratulate or not. To get yourself in a lather seems pointless once past the event.

I see Angelina Jolie didn’t win anything. Yippee!!

Goooo Jhonny you are the BEST :) :)

I am really sad coz they didn’t do the Golden Globes !!!!!

Congrats to Johnny and Tim!!

woot, good job Marion. French Films are sometimes way better than english films…

Way to go, David Duchovny!!!!!
I’m soooo proud of him. Californication is such a great show, and it wouldn’t be successful without David. He showed us that there’s so much than Fox Mulder in him. You rock, Baby!

Special congrats to:
Atonement (it’s a very good movie)
Sweenie Todd and Jhonny Depp
Marion Cotillard for La môme, beautil movie
and Le Scaphandre et le papillon (the diving bell and the butterfly)

They all deserved to win, but that’s just my opinion

WHAT ABOUT GREY’S ANATOMY??????????

anne-sophie @ 01/14/2008 at 7:39 pm

Felicitation has Marion of credit note to win to live France and what it continues for Oscars. Francais not in demand no more lol.
Domage that she is not able to rise on scene to receive this honor.
And felicitation also has Johnny I like what it begins and it is also a francais of adoption is not vanessa hihi.

My oh my…why didn’t HSM win…oh why…oh I know…because it wasn’t nominated…

I’m happy for Cate Blanchett. :)

Helena said in post#82: “#2, you’re pathetic! How dare you insult Daniel Day-Lewis like that!”

I am not pathetic…the Golden Globes was.
Daniel Day-Lewis is an incredible actor…and so is Denzel Washington. About 100 people says “There Will Be Blood” and about 100million saw “American Gangster”. That is no insult to Mr. Lewis and I’m sure he wouldn’t take it as an insult.

Both performances were powerful, but this very small cliche of foreign reporters chose mostly foreign actors to win.

So there.
