High School Musical 3: Senior Year

Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman are all now officially (really, really) confirmed to appear in High School Musical 3: Senior Year, according to TVGuide.

Here’s the movie’s premise according to a Disney press release: High School seniors Troy (Efron) and Gabriella (Hudgens) face the prospect of being separated from one another as they head off in different directions to college. Joined by the rest of the Wildcats, they stage an elaborate spring musical reflecting their experiences, hopes and fears about their future.

Production for High School Musical 3: Senior Year begins spring 2008 and tentatively will be released on silver screens nationwide on October 24, 2008.

This is kind of exciting. I mean Zac Efron has said he wants to get away from these kinds of roles and be like Leonardo DiCaprio. He’s just going to be this musical hearthrob.

I am so excited! It would be cool though to see all the HSm stars to act in movies that don’t belong to the music genre. That is just my opinion
