Jessica Alba returns to her midtown hotel on Tuesday after appearing on numerous talk shows the past few days.
Jess is promoting her new film The Eye, opening on Feb. 1.
A remake of the Hong Kong film, Jian Gui, Jess plays a concert violinist who receives an eye transplant that allows her to see into the supernatural world.

I just saw her on TRL..She’s absolutly AMAZING.
she is so gorgeous and so sexy but she is just not a good actor. i was reading her article in ‘elle’ about how she knows if she did broadway she knows she’d “kill it”. im of the opinion that theater separates boys from the men, in terms of acting and i think she should work on getting good acting reviews in film first!

why is she always in stupid movies? now that she is really famous she has the power to pick what movie she wants to start in, isnt it time for her to start in good movie, and actually show her acting skills?? i’ve seen alot of her movies, and they all sound impressive, but once you actually watch it them , there not really good, this one sounds like them as well.

i totally agree with you. i thought she sounded quite arrogant in the article, especially when she immediately puts down eva mendes as possible leading lady material. she does it in one sentence and it sounds really condescending.
i highly doubt she would “kill it” on broadway. i think she would kill the show, as in it would get axed because of her.
and i don’t care how pretty she is. she’s still rather ugly on the inside and until she fixes that, she can’t hope to be among the greats, like charlize and halle. oh yeah, and she’s actually got to have talent besides her ass.
I think she’s gorgeous but I don’t like her for some reason.

I certainly would not think when ranking talented actress with good hearts of Jessica Alba. Reese Witherspoon would be more like it and Jessica HAS a long way to go before reaching Reese’s podium.

#17, for sure. it is quite laughable that she has this huge ego that is very undeserved, while the other actresses out there who deserve their oscars and golden globes are very quite, very humble, and very very grateful for the fame, fans, and money that their work has gotten them. i’m not saying that some of the actresses don’t say stupid **** sometimes, but they have carried themselves better and much more highly than alba could ever hope to do. she looks good in clothes, i’ll give her that.
it’s probably ironic that i dislike her so much, but i know a lot about her because i try to give her chances to convince me she’s not a *****, but every time a new interview comes out, whatever comes out of her mouth at that point tends to make her look worse than for the better.
I am in the mood for a scary movie actually. Maybe I’ll check it out.

#7, #14, and #16 were pretty much spot on and people still need to learn not to assume good looks = good person, but that will probably always be a huge mistake for humanity till the end of time.
I wish there were more interviews with stars who deserve to run their mouths like Reese Witherspoon, Cate Blanchett, Julia Roberts, Glenn Close and so on and so forth.
isn’t this movie produce by tom cruise or something? i know that like 3 years ago tom cruise was producing it and renee zellweger was suppose to star in it but then alba took her place.

same here, luckyl. i wish i could learn more about the A-list stars. especially like julia roberts. she is so sweet and down to earth and she’s got those adorable kids. AND she has talent.
but i also think that perhaps it’s best they don’t give too many interviews. i like how they keep their lives private and add a bit of mystery. it makes them more believable as characters. kevin spacey had a good quote about that.
