OlderJustin Chambers Has a Sleeping Disorder
Grey’s Anatomy star Justin Chambers, aka Dr. Alex Karev checked himself in to the psych ward at UCLA Medical Center this week, according to TMZ.
Justin checked into the same ward as Britney on Monday and checked out yesterday.
His rep says the 37-year-old actor was “exhausted and suffers from a sleeping disorder and went in voluntarily to get some help.” (This probably explains the dark circles under his eyes.)
Having five kids just might do that to ya. Get well soon, Justin!

Oh poor thing. Sleep is so crucial, you would never know it until your not getting it. Hope he gets better!
Poor thing, yeah five kids will do that to you… I can’t even see how my mother took care of me and my sister and that’s obviously only two kids….geez…After two kids, I’m getting my tubes tied.
um…when ur tired u take a vacation or go to a hotel. You Don’t check into a psych ward.

It probably wasn’t a big psych ward thing…probably just for evaluation…its just a part of the psych ward. It’s not like he went there for padded walls.

Aww that sucks, glad he is out now and back with his family, but he is such a private person, so it is a shame that this had to get out :(

What’s the point of checking into a hotel or going on vacation if he CAN’T SLEEP? At least at the hospital they can see if there’s something causing him not to sleep and they can give him medication/therapy to help with the exhaustion and sleeping disorder.

Ava he’s not just tired he suffers from cronic insomnia. I had it too – from my own experience after 2 weeks of sleep depravation you’re phisically and mentally exhausted & simply can’t function anymore
:( i realy hope he gets better.
Here is my prescription:
1. Birth Control
2. several full-time nannies
3. back-up birth control
You know, we might joke about it and make fun of them, but sleeping disorder is a real serious problem and many people take meds and battle it. I think Britney’s is bringing focus to this problem, which is the only good thing coming out of her situation.
