Cate Blanchett Plants a Seed

A glowing Cate Blanchett and director husband Andrew Upton arrive for the opening night of the Kate Mulvany play, The Seed, at the Belvoir Street Theatre on Wednesday in Sydney, Australia.

Mulvany says, “The play was written as an exploration of my own family’s spectres of war, and as a response to military commitments being made by my country. The Seed is not so much a political piece however, as it is a deep exploration of family, loyalty and betrayal. It is a play for anyone who lives in a country currently at war, recovering from war, anyone who is part of a family. And in Australia, that’s pretty much all of us right now.”

Joining the Aussie couple: Australian director of theatre, film and opera Neil Armfield and British writer and film maker Ian Sinclair.

The 38-year-old actress expects her third child together this April.

I thought she’d have a much classier looking husband.
But it doesn’t matter anyway..he must be a nice man….it’s just that when I think Cate married and preagnant she’s beside of a rly handsome man. LOL

You probably think Britney Spears is pretty….so please don’t take it personally that we don’t care what you think about Cate. You wouldn’t know “pretty” if it hit you in the face…..Pun intended.
