Joshua Jackson is a Fringe Freak

The dashingly handsome Joshua Jackson and costar Bernadeta Wrobel (not pictured) kick it into high gear as they film scenes for their new television series Fringe near Queen Street in Toronto, Canada on Sunday.

Jackson, 29, will play Peter Bishop, a smart high-school drop-out with a high IQ but problems gambling debts. Bishop ia also said to be a member of a unit investigating sci-fi mysteries.

Fringe is a potential Fox series from producer J.J. Abrams, who is best known for his work in Felicity, Alias, Lost, Cloverfield, and the much-hyped Star Trek movie. A two-hour, $10,000,000 pilot is being produced.

@pattic8ke: I couldn’t agree more about Joshua Jackson looking like Larry Hagman… it’s crazy!! I had to do a search because they look so much alike (Larry Hagman in his “I dream of Jeannie” days, of course)!
