OlderBeyonce is OBSESSED
Beyonce Knowles has signed up for a new movie called Obsessed, reports Variety.
The 26-year-old singer/actress will play the knockout wife of an asset manager (The Wire‘s Idris Elba). Heroes hottie Ali Larter will play a temp office worker who begins stalking Elba‘s character.
Steve Shill will direct–he most recently did the TV movie Knight Rider starring Justin Bruening.
Beyonce will start Obsessed production this summer. She’s also producing and co-starring as Etta James in Cadillac Records.

Sounds like a Lifetime made for TV movie and Beyonce sucks as an actress, she should just stick to singing and dancing.

This as well as the “Etta” role will expand her acting chops. She did well in “Carmen” so I know she can do an emotional scene. She’s also the Exec.Producer of this movie – Cha Ching $$$$!!!!
Why can’t see she play more serious roles instead of trying to play sexy female characters that don”t define real acting.

We don’t know what’s in this role yet to say she’s playing a “sexy” character. Whatever her role – she’s going to be sexy because she is. Be it an assassin or a maid. I believe it does show emotion – think “Fatal Attraction” – this is going to be an updated version of that. This as well as the ETTA role is going to stretch her as an actress and producer. GET ‘EM BEY!!!

Sorry Beyonce—–you are a very attractive girl that was blessed to have made it in this industry. Through hard work, dedication and you’re driven but sweetie you cannot act. Leave well enough alone. Being exex-producer does mean ching ching. Your acting is always the same not matter what movie you’re in. It sucks. Sing-dance-sell products——but do not, I repeat–do not act. TRUST ME I’M NOT A HATER. I just have eyes.
Oh—-Idris is the sh….That’s a sexy well accompolished actor. If money can buy an oscar, if being an executive producer can get you an oscar–being pretty, dancing or having daddy treat a (best friend) aka former destiny child give you an oscar—-then by all means she will win. Yes she has her fans, lots of them but being a fan and using common sense is totally different.
