Her Madgesty, 49, looks ready to kick some major booty!!!
Here are some highlights:
On collaborating with Justin Timberlake: “I really enjoy writing with Justin…We had psychoanalytic sessions whenever we wrote songs first. We’d sit down and we’d start talking about situations. And then we’d start talking about issues or problems or relationships with people. That was the only way, because you know, writing together with somebody is very intimate…that was fun, because he’s open and he’s got talent. He’s a songwriter. I haven’t worked with a lot of songwriters where I’m instantly connected and start riffing and playing with the rhythm of the words. He’s as interested in the rhythm of the words as the meaning of the words.”
On saving her son David’s life: “He wouldn’t have lived if I hadn’t taken him. It’s not even a possibility.”
On bringing daughter Lourdes with her to Malawi: “She spent several weeks working in the orphanages, particularly one with newborn children, and most of them were HIV-positive. She so came into her own and was so responsible and stayed for eight hours every day and worked tirelessly. I thought, why am I babying her so much? She’s capable of so much more. We don’t let kids do anything. We think, Oh, they’re kids — they can’t take care of other kids; they can’t do this; they can’t do that. And after you go to Africa, you drop all that silliness.”
Madonna’s new album Hard Candy is set for an April 29 release. This Monday, Justin Timberlake will induct the Queen of Pop into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at NYC’s Waldorf-Astoria hotel.

Am I missing something? No one said she should be DRESSED like that; they said she looks stupid and desperate to be POSING like that (i.e., with her legs wide open). That’s just nasty–no matter what your age, but esp. when you’re almost 50. Hey y’all, like it or not, we’re all entitled to our own opinions. DUH

madonna has been dressing like that since her tweens and she can continue to do so. she has always been free with her body. and with that kind of body at 50, well heck i woul dbe too. you all only wish you can look that good at 50. no 50 year old woman i know has that body and it is all from working out, ;pilates, yoga, dancing and discipline. her body is like steel. love it madonna. kudos!!! 50 is the new 20. funny, there are 20 year olds who re 100 times more flabby than you. you rock madge!
