OlderJay-Z to Launch Roc Nation, is $150 Million Richer
Jay-Z is on the verge of closing a $150 million deal with concert promoter Live Nation that includes every aspect the rapper’s future touring and recordings.
As part of the partnership, Jay-Z will also launch an entertainment venture called Roc Nation. According to the NY Times, this will finance future start-up ventures by Jay-Z including his own label, music publishing, and artist consulting and managing.
Earlier this week, U2 closed in on a 12-year deal with Live Nation. Madonna sealed a $120 million deal with Live Nation back in October.

He got more than Madonna because his includes his own record label. Plus, he’s a man and men always get more for the same job. ridiculous. anyway, we don’t yet know how long the contract is. madonna’s getting way more than U2 b/c her contract is over 10 yrs while they’re getting less overall for a 12 yr contract. Jay-Z seems to have more components to his contract than Madonna, since Madonna’s mainly surrounds CDs and touring vs. those 2 entities PLUS an entire record company to boot.

I think that humanitarian needs to be done from the heart, and with real committment. it’s okay and great some celebs are able to do that, but you can’t blame every rich not to do anything for the poor.
Jay Z is a very talented guy, and I like his way of living, low key, never mess around…and yeah he’s the most richest that’s why despite his age, despite his ugliness (I’m sorry he is) Beyonce will never leave him!

As always Madonnas ahead of the game. Im glad I bought my Live Nation stock when I heard Madonna signed with Live Nation. One thing Ive learned this past 25 years is you can always bet on Madonna. Never ever count her out.
