OlderAnnaLynne McCord Joins 90210 Spin-off
AnnaLynne McCord, best known for playing sexpot Eden Lord on Nip/Tuck, has joined the CW’s Beverly Hills, 90210 spin-off, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
AnnaLynne, 20, will play Naomi, a hot, rich, and popular Beverly Hills high schooler. It was announced earlier this month that Dustin Milligan (Runaway) joined the cast as Ethan, a popular star athlete at West Beverly Hills High School.
It’s rumored that Rob Thomas will be stepping down from the director’s chair because he’s swapped doing two other pilots for ABC.

if rob thomas isn’t involved then i probably will be less inclined to watch it. i loved veronica mars and his involvement was the only thing that piqued my interest in the 90210 spin-off.

is rob thomas aware that, a spin-off has to be connected to the original show? from what they have said, it seems like there will be no conection to the original 90210. only the title… which sucks. if i was doing this spin-off(my opinion) i would put erin silver, half sister of both kelly and david as the main character of the new series, i mean she would be in high school right now. and then start connecting new characters from there. what about andrea’s daughter? i hope the spin-off doesn’t suck. the original show captured the essence of the 90s…the trends, music,etc…
