gah what are they doing????? becky is supposed to be stylish
first they make her american and now they give her ugly clothes, urgh
nothing against isla cause i’m sure she’ll do a good job, its just annoying how much they’ve changed

FOR GOODNESS SAKE THIS IS NOTHING LIKE THE BOOK .. I DONT CARE IF THERE NEEDED TO BE CHANGES TO ADAPT IT FOR THE HOLLYWOOD EFFECT YOU COULD’VE AT LEAST MADE IT SOME WHAT BELIEVABLE. ISLA FISHER IS NO REBECCA BLOOMWOOD. WHAT A SHAME.

So far the clothes have been very strange … i suppose it’s meant to be Couture … but even Couture is so stylish and gorgeous and pleasing to the eyes …. these clothes have been so tacky!!!

A movie about a shopoholic has to show a girl dressing in stylish yet wearable gorgeous clothes!!!!

:-(

She’s cute.

I agree…I’m almost done reading the entire series and there’s no way that Becky would dress in such garish clothing.
Have they made her American? I hadn’t heard that. I assumed that Isla would be playing her British.

Sham on Sophie Kinsella for letting this happen.

I wonder how many poodles had to die in order for that hideous pube-y vest to be made…

I like this chick alot.

WOW Many her fans are chatting this on my favorite community called M y i n T e r r a c i A l m a t c h DOT C o M where I met many cute, black, WhIte boys.

she’s cute. i like reading the book.

They might as well change the title and the characters’s names because quite frankly, looking at these pictures, it’s NOTHING like the book. Rebecca didn’t dress flamboyant at all!

OMG, she looks like Amy ADAMS

this outfit would actually look fine if you took off the biuret and the hideious poncho thingy. i’ll still look forward to the movie even though they destroyed the costume part. i mean, isnt the costume designer the same person as devil wears prada? thats just impossible!

This outfit is beyond ridiculous

hahaa i was in nyc over the weekend because every other weekend i visit my dad there..and i saw the set for this. i asked one of the men from the crew if he knew who was in the movie and he said “isla fisher” so i had a 5 second freak out. shes a great actress and personally i think she fits the role of a “shopoholic” perfectly. good for her.

Guys, read the first book again…anyone willing to buy “the most beautiful zebra print jeans ever” could wear the outfits easily…and remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder and everything in the book is described by becky…what she may think is beautiful, u might find appalling….

amazing fashion is different for everyone….
