OlderGwyneth Paltrow Battled Postpartum Depression
Gwyneth Paltrow opens up about her postpartum depression in the May 2008 cover of Vogue.
“You know, I had postnatal depression after [my second child] Moses,” Gwyn says. “I didn’t know I had it until after it was over. I just didn’t know what was wrong with me…I felt really out of my body. I felt really disconnected. I felt really down; I felt pessimistic.”
According to E! Online, Gwyn has knocked her daily wardrobe down to a few basic items like minidresses and tights, a pair of jeans, two coats and a couple of different-style boots in the winter.
Explains Ms. Paltrow, “It’s like I want to eliminate all of the fuss. I don’t have time anymore to sit there and be like, What should I wear? What goes with this?”
Speaking of trainer Tracy Anderson, apparently Gwyneth introduced her to Madonna!
Gwyn says, “I still haven’t learned my lesson about not sharing my people with Madonna, because she steals them away forever.”

Why would Brad take all the blame? This is something I could never understand, why the man is always blamed when there is a break-up. This society needs to recognize that woman have faults too, and many times it is the woman who is at fault or it is both of them who is at fault.
She is a snob. She messed up big-time by leaving Brad. Brad is a good guy.

I think the rumors were that she had an affair with Viggo Mortensen when he was smoking hot ala The Perfect Murder era.
And she was always well read/educated.. it is just that she doesn’t think about how people will interrupt the things she says before she says it.

It wasjust odd how when they broke up it was beyond OVER! All he would say is that she was not in his life anymore nor does he talk to her and he refused to discuss the reason for the break up which made her look highly suspect.
Then years later she opened up and said he was wonderful and blameless and she was the “architect of her own misery” and a mess.. blah blah..
She never said she cheated.. it was just a bizarre, sudden and very final break up.

It’s not exactly a huge secret that this interview to promote her latest project, Helen. Hence the Iron Man mask sitting under her elbow on the cover. It might be a good idea to actually read the interview before we start making snide comments about what little tiny portion of the printed article was chosen and posted on here. Why would she discuss her post partum or natal depression if she weren’t being interviewed? Hmmm, that could be the reason she didn’t come out with it until now. Hmmm….
