Gwyneth Paltrow: My Son Says

Iron Man star Gwyneth Paltrow recently chated with Extra! about Madonna, her ultimate beauty secret and her fitness routine.

On living in the constant media spotlight being difficult especially since having children: “My son [Moses] did say the word paparazzi the other day and he’s only two. I found that slightly disturbing.”

On famous friend Madonna: “Sometimes we work out together. We work out very hard. She’s just much fitter than I am. I do a lot of dance aerobics and mat work [but] without my family I have no glow. Everything else is superficial.”

On her and her husband Chris Martin being the target of several tabloid rumors: “We just tune it out. We just try to stay away from it.”

Snobby McSnob. Dislike her very much.

Liar! She probably said the word to her son, and he just follows it! Paltrow is such an arrogant b*tch!

  • Anonymous

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow barely even registers on the celebrity radar of life and her husband, Chris Martin, actually does not. I don’t think they need to concern themselves much with media intrusion as they aren’t very interesting to anyone but themselves. Paltrow only wishes she were relevant.

BTW, can her 2 year old son say the word – underwear? That might be a good start for that family.

im neither fan nor hater of gwyneth paltrow, but whats up with the comments above? unless you know her personally or something like that, how can you show that much dislike for a person you dont even know?

  • http://www.myspace.com/yasonbourne ILovePapaSmurf

Peggy, you can tell a lot about a person through their interviews.

  • Irene

    Dislike her very much.

  • Ben

    This is so not newsworthy.

  • cheetah1976

Well obvious you guys don’t follow youtube or other gossips sites. There are allot of video’s circling around where Moses and Apple are crowded by the paparazzi. They cant even get into a car without flashes in there eyes.

Yes off course moses heard the word in his house, but he knows the paparazzi!

They should make a law where paparazzi have to sta 200 meters from the object!

There’s always tons of papparazi pics of Gwyneth. I can never open a magazine without seeing at least one. Whatever the haters may think, she hasn’t dissapeared off the radar. She’s everywhere at the moment. And Chris Martin is in one of the biggest bands in the world.

Just because losers like Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton get more column inches doesn’t mean Gwyneth and Chris are nobodies.

  • rien

Honey, I thought Chris Martin is the name of GP’s husband, and not a name of a band….
The survey in England said, that Cold Play is on number 2 for making people get dozed….
Agree with Papasmurf, from the words you chose, people can tell how high your nose is.

Something I like about Chris martin, he is down to earth. I saw some of his picture. So Natural. But GP……for my taste, she is snob. And I don’t like snob.

  • NOno

    I’m disagree with you Ilovepapasmurf
You can say you know people throught their interviews because there are oriented by the journalists.

  • http://www.myspace.com/yasonbourne ILovePapaSmurf

Journalists ask questions to get the story, questions that are answered by the “subject” they are interviewing. Journalists don’t answer questions for celebs.

  • original Amber

Blech…I don’t care for her. However, her new hair style looks very cute.

  • dwye

I viewd more her photos at BlackWhiteKiss. c o M — where you can met many real cute babes and single black and white men online

    @ilovepapasmurf

and yes we all know how reliable the paparazzi and journalist are, and the never twist a word or 2 that somebody says. They also never short a sentence to let it sound the way they want.

    Tjees, wake up dude!

You cant tell a word from an interview unless you are there to witness it!

  • Mar

JARED! You misspelled CHATTED. Haha :))

It’s in the first line. :)

  • rien

    @Ilovepapasmurf

I agree with you, with a note. I have to read many interviews about the person, and from different sources. The more reliable the sources, the better they are.

If we say it is true until we witness it, just like what cheetah 1976 said, then we will never find any truth. Especially with celebs. At the premier? Forget it. The most fake action ever. Let them spill their guts, then we decide about them.

Better is, the unprepared interview. The choices of words show me how the people are, better, the intonation of the words.

  • Linda

I can’t imagine why the paparazzi would even waste their time with that pretentious, arrogant snob and her crabby husband.

  • Anna

I just watched an Iron Man interview with her which is on the BBC website and she was not even remotely snobby… She seemed lovely and down to earth. Modest and fun, in a sweet way. People should just get over this stupid ‘we hate Gwyneth whatever she says or does’ thing – it’s boring. People need to remember that everything reported in the paper is twisted to make a juicer story. People shouldn’t gets so sucked in by it all.

As for hiding her kids from the paps, ask yourself how you’d react if a bunch of men with cameras were chasing your kids, selling the photos, then to top if all off, you read the nasty things people say about the way your children look. If a strange man was hanging outside my house for hours, chasing me and taking photos of my baby I’d call the police…

  • Jan

She is such a pathetic piece of crap. It’s so funny how she try to make like they are all that. If her kid said that it’s because she call them so much to follow her.

  • LOL

    GP is disturbing.
I’ll be glad when she and Chris Paltrow get the giant stick out of their arse’s. Coldplay is the product of over the top HYPE.

  • Mediterranean

    Anonymous,

I cannot agree with you more. Tu as raison!

  • K

It doesn’t help when you court the photogs wearing a skirt above your ass.

  • Ha!

Um, smurf person, do you really believe everything you read? Do you think they post interviews word-for-word and don’t choose what to print in order to skew things the way they want? Perhaps it would be a good idea to reserve the unhealthy hatred for people or things we have actual, personal experience with and not for people we have never and will never meet. BTW, I read exactly the same interviews as you and haven’t gotten that impression of her. But then again, I’m able to think for myself.

As a budding journalist myself, I can assure you that what bosses want – aside from the story – is truth. Misquoting someone in this profession can get you into serious trouble. Many celebs “backtrack” when they dislike their comments being leaked to the media. It happens several times. What is great about this comment section is that everyone can express their opinions on any matter they wish to talk about.

Also, being a paparazzi and being a reporter are two completely different jobs, so it’s really unfair to compare the two.

Read my post above. You’re entitled to your own opinion of someone, as am I.

  • tabitha

Gwyneth needs to get over herself. She is not Brangelina. And she is not a relevant actress anymore either. So she’s basically in the crapper. Thank God after her lame blubberingOscar win in that stupid big pink dress we haven’t heard from her unless she is naming her kids weird names, working out with Madonna, or wearing dresses way up her ass to get attention. Really this woman is a joke. She thinks she is royalty.

  • Ha!

There is a huge difference between misquoting someone and taking comments out of context to change the gist of what is being said or the sentiment behind those statements.

  • Adoring Fan

    Love her.

  • jay

Where did you find this Jared? It’s not on EXTRA or anywhere else. Has it been on television yet? Hmmmmm

  • ROBYN

    She talks like we care!!

  • Katie

Well, Robyn, you took the time to post that…so you must care to a degree. All of you took the time to talk about this, so for those of you who say she isn’t relevant anymore…what are you doing here, then?

And please, I don’t want to hear that the world doesn’t care and all that crap. She is hounded by the paps worse than most celebrities and that is not an exaggeration. If you think she is arrogant, that is your opinion. That’s fine, you have a right to think that. I just hate it when people say thing that are clearly crap, like saying the world doesn’t care. Believe me. Open up a magazine. They care.

And as for the arrogant thing, in my opinion she isn’t arrogant, but then again, I’ve never met her. I only have interviews to go by, and most of us realize how skewed those can be. She simply seems like an intelligent and educated person, and it is clear how this can come across as arrogant to people who differ her. She has poise and class and we are just not used to that from our celebrities.
