Stephen Colbert Gets Rained On, Again

For the second year in a row, South Korean actor/singer Rain narrowly beats Stephen Colbert in Time Magazine’s Poll Results of the most influential people.

Last year, Rain and Colbert placed No.1 and No.2, respectively, but this year they were both beat out by Shigeru Miyamoto, a video-game designer who created Mario, Donkey Kong, and The Legend of Zelda.

Rain is already training a successor, Kevin Park, to his own Asian pop company at the mere age of 25.

Colbert‘s book, I Am America! (And So Can You!) has spent more than 23 weeks atop the NY Times Best Sellers list.

Heidi Klum and Tyra Banks came in at No.4 and No.5, respectively.

That’s because Rain is the number one superstar in the world. The US will soon get to know him at last in Speed Racer.

# 2

Rain was Time’s 100 most influential People in 2006^^
And This year,I voted to Rain, too.
I can’t wait to see him worked as Taejo Togokhan on “speed racer”

Who the heck is Rain? I haven’t even heard of him…I guess thatll change soon. theyll probably start putting him on http://www.celebrityprayerlist.com soon i bet.

# 7

Huh? Who cares? Any list with Tyra Banks coming in at #5 for anything other than most annoying is a huge load of BS

# 8

Hahah they should have sended someone else instead of Rain, since there are better looking males in korea than him. I mean, Rain? HAH! The only hot thing he has is his abs, and I wouldn’t do him even then.

# 9

Even though he didn’t win at least he still beat Colbert! XD

Go Rain Go Rain

I CANT BELIVE THAT ANGILIENA JOLIE HAVE KIDS

IT IS A BIG CHANGE FOR LINDSY LOHAN

where is his influence? I don’t see it.

^i agree w/ #12. I don’t care about all the people that u listed. they can disappear , i don’t care. i come in here just to say that the list that the Time has is ridiculous, who cares really.

How come I’ve never heard of this guy?

I LOVE RAIN………………………….AND SUN, TOO! LOL

I love rain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That’s good Miyamoto got it. He deserves it definitely. So glad that Bill Gates isn’t on there. He isn’t influential at all. Well, maybe a little. Miyamoto is the man. He actually does things unlike Gates. This is cool, can’t wait to get my hands on that issue. By the way: Who is Rain?

OH PULEASE!!!!!!!!!

THIS IS ONLY BECAUSE HIS FANS ARE VOTING FOR HIM!!!!!! AND THEY ARE PROBABLY YOUNG TEENAGERS WITH NOTHING BETTER TO DO!!!!!!!!!!!

He is NOT even in Time’s list of top 100 !!!!!!!!!!!!! ONLY that stupid poll says so, the MAGAZINE ITSELF doesn’t even bother with him – heh!

haha stephen and rain are so cool.
thanks jared.
people should go to colbertnation or colbertreport to check out their dance-off ! you can totally tell how much fun these two had together.
it was freakin hilarious
i love stephen and Rain!

colbert should be higher

The ONLY reason Rain won is because Korean and Japanese fans are notorious for spam voting. I don’t deny he’s a talented R&B pop star but his fans need to stop. It’s embarrassing. He’s lucky Stephen Colbert turned it into a mild joke. The majority of Americans have no clue who Rain is and he’s number 1 in an American magazine? That’s just wrong.
